I can't promise anything, but I might be able to work on creating DVDs. I have a bunch of free time this week (yay days off from work), but I also need to get some other things done (including writing which always takes me forever). I have also never created a DVD, but since I am pretty tech savvy I am hoping that won't be a big stumbling block. So if I have the time I will try and create a DVD and see how it goes. (I also have no DVD player to test it on so that could make this more interesting ) The question I have though is if anyone knows which of the big downloads is the one I should work with. I did not download any of them since they are so huge and I was happy with just mp3s for myself, so I have no idea which one has the best quality. This might also take some time so I figured I could get started on downloading sooner rather than later. I tried making a DVD from the 4.1 GB download. It is in a format called "ts" which basically contains mpeg-2 video. Only 1 of my DVD softwares can read this and tries to convert it to mpeg which is needed to write to DVD. The big problem is that both the 4.1 & 6.6 GB videos are in PALS format which is an European format. They need to be in NTSC format to work on DVD players in the US. The software I have does not do this conversion properly. I think their is software that will do the conversion but it could take some time to find the right one and test it, which I don't have at the moment. I posted a link yesterday to a mp4 download that someone provided. It is a lower quality conversion of the 6.6 GB file so that it could be uploaded as 1 file less than 1 GB. That version was formatted with iTunes chapters, which is really nice when playing in iTunes. But my DVD software will not read it. The person has just uploaded a non-chaptered verson which I am about to try. I have no idea how he did it, but my hubby was able to do this. The only thing I know is that the program he uses is NERO.

Regarding DVD creation, I created a DVD very easily. Let me illustrate the process. Mind you, I am using Windows 7. 1. I downloaded the movie file, which is called: AdamQueen-Stream-2.05.00-deven (MP4 format) - Don´t remember the link, though :-( 2. Once downloaded, I opened it using Windows Movie Maker: 3. Once it was opened, I selected the tab "save video" and then the option record DVD. Then the wizard guides the process. The DVD is working fine on my DVD player. I could send copies of this DVD to those who want it. The only doubt I have is that I am in Europe and I don´t know if it will work in the American system. Hope this helps.

Talon, I'm curious. What did most Queen fans think about the Paul Rogers collaborations? That's a tough nut. It's all basically when you asked...LOL. In general when it was announced it was about 50/50. There are some Queen fans who think it is basically blashphemy for anyone but Freddie to have a long term realtionship with the band) Part of them (honestly myself included) would rather Brian and Roger just get a few other musicians like what they have now and just front the show themselves...I think that's the purist thing they could do and Roger and Brian can obviously both sing. BUT the tour did win a lot of fans overall until they released the new album. That lost a lot of support as it brought up the idea of a Queen album without Freddie. For the most part the main argument seems to be using the Queen name. If Brian and Roger worked with Paul under a new name or under May/Taylor/Rodgers or whatever it would have been far more acceptable to them. Furthermore I think the same applies here. If Brian and Roger worked with Adam and didn't call it Queen, it might go down easier. To me it's nitpicky and I don't really care what they call it but I can understand why they feel the way they do. I do find it amusing that now some people who were against PR are now clamoring for them to get back together with him.

Ok I'm trying to upload the FLAC files to mediafire but it's going to take about 2 hours I think. In case you don't know FLAC is an audio type which is superior to Mp3 because it doesn't compress the audio. Now unfortunately the world is Mp3 based as far as players generally go (ipods and the like). You can find plugins for any media player on computers. You can also convert the files to Mp3 using any number of free software. I won't do it for you though because it's a rule of the queenzone site to never convert any FLAC to MP3 and share it. They are trying to maintain an integrity of having the highest quality recordings available and don't want to sully the pool so to speak. BUT there's no rule against converting to Mp3 for your own personal use. Thanks Talon I will look forward to your link to the FLAC files. Whats the difference between FLAC and wav files? I am very ignorant. I've a little audio recorder that I used at Adam's first solo concert and it recorded in wav format.
