Anyone know if one of the videos shows Adam coming back on stage with his tank top and bare feet ? I'm wondering what the audience reaction was or Brian's... I know what mine was...

Three of my favourite Queen songs, but really all I want is Killer Queen. It's one of the best known Queen songs too so why do we not have it?! Pleeease
I so, so agree - Killer Queen all the way - maybe London?Yes! That would be fantastic! I think Adam would sing that fantastically. The only question would be if he made it TOO camp, which for some reason, was fine for Freddie, but AL gets savaged for (not by us, of course ;D) Sheer Heart Attack was one of the first albums I bought with my own money--I'm sure I still have it, along with thousands of other LPs boxed up that have somehow survived four moves. As for metal vs. hard vs. pop convo, hard rock has been consistently my fave genre over the decades (along with many others, punk, ska), etc., but it really hasn't been a salable genre since grunge days. I can totally appreciate the songcraft in great pop music, but haven't been able to get into it as much as others. So, for me, the Beatles can be viewed as a kind of transition between pop and hard rock. I like their poppier songs (again, great songcraft), but I really love their late-60s stuff when they starting hitting much harder (and anyone who dismisses Beatles as "mere pop and not hard rock" have never listened to Helter Skelter or She's So Heavy. My feelings is the transition goes something like this, from pop to hard rock to heavy metal: Beatles (pop until White Album, which mixes pop songs with hard rock) Queen (pop and hard rock fusion, but less poppy overall) Led Zep (the perfect example of hard rock, which isn't quite metal but is transitioning into it) Metallica (heavy metal but prolly considered more melodic; a Metallica fanboy would have my head for saying that, no doubt!) Black Sabbath (progenitor of heavy metal--and the first Black Sabbath album really WAS the first album I bought, when I was just a little kid! I think my parents shoulda been freaked out a little, if they had been paying attention in the 60s, lol) Judas Priest (pure heavy metal) (This is just my gut feeling; YMMV, of course!) And as far as Adam doing musical theater again, please God, no. That would be like a butterfly going back into a cocoon. I love Broadway shows, but it seems like it would be a sure indication that he has failed in his desire to be an artist. (Interestingly enough, I listened to the gaydar interview right after reading the post abt Adam and theater, and he clearly states that he's enjoying not playing a character but being himself and own artist).

Hmmm. I'm not sure why it doesn't work for you. Someone else up page got it...I don't use mediafire much. Anybody else having problems? Talon, You have to provide the "share link" rather than the link at the top of your web browser. On your MediaFire page, click on the folder under "My Files" that you want to share. You will see a "Share Folder" link pop up above the directory tree. Click on "Share Folder" and then "More Options" and copy the content in "Forum Embed Code". Past the copied link to your Adamtopia Message.

Regards Adam and earning his stripes stuff - here's something people aren't really talking about much. In the eyes of both accomplished, newly popular and big selling artists and producers Adam is someone to be respected and admired for his talent and skills as a vocalist.
I will be missing some but here's a rough list:
Artists who have given Adam their songs to sing: Pink Gaga Muse Justin Hawkins Bruno Mars Not counting songwriters who have had a hand in a huge proportion of recent pop music hits. Collaborations with Pharrel; Niles Rogers Working with famed producers Supported and lauded by Meatloaf; Rob Cavallo; Brian May; Roger Taylor etc etc etc Albums debuting at #3 and #1 respectively Sells records and sells out concerts not just in US but around the world. All in 3 years.
How many more stripes does he need?

brianmay.com/brian/brianssb/brianssbjul12a.html#0And that apparent fireball … though it's actually a setting Sun and a conveniently placed giant condensation-trail … or is it? Moscow and Kiev share a commonality in the wealth of beautiful golden domes. And beautiful sunsets. We're in Poland now, in Wroclaw (pronounced not as 'Rock Law', but something very close to Vrrots-Warf) - and it's …nice! A town full of character and history. And this is the first time in 40 years that Queen has ever played Poland (though I personally had a great adventure in Warsaw some years ago). And the memories of Moscow? Very warm, and pleasing. Fantastic audience - singing beautifully. Adam is a joy to work with, and we are developing a stimulating communication. Thanks Moskva! Bri

Google translate of an article I linked earlier from Brian May's site
Note the title!
Queen of the Lambert team has arrived in Wroclaw
The musicians, who are the stars of Saturday's festival, Rock in Wroclaw, landed on Wednesday around 14.30. - I do not know what we do here, can you have any suggestions? - Said with a laugh to reporters at a press conference that took place shortly after their arrival
This is an interesting city, a lot is going on with you. We learned that on the occasion of the European football championships - said drummer Roger Taylor and guitarist Brian May said that, glad that they could come here with an American Adam Lambert, who gives them a new force on the stage: - Working with him is well arranged, have a voice in a million. This is not a new Freddie, is another excellent vocalist - May complimented by 35 years younger singer.
- I get a call and I heard that I would not go on tour with the Queen - he told Lambert - a little scared, but that opportunity yet it happens once in a lifetime, one can not use it. I do not regret: it not only improves the musicians, but also fantastic people - praised in turn, their older colleagues.
He betrayed, like preparing for a concert - I watched the old recordings, peeping Freddie to their behavior properly honor of his person, not in order to copy it. Pretending to be someone else is sacrilege - he said.
He added that he sees clear line between his solo career and working with the Queen: - What I do myself, is a dance, contemporary. Concerts with the Queen is a journey in time, I withdraw to the works on which they grew up. Only instead of listening to these classics, singing them himself - he joked.
- There is no recipe for a hit. If you think something is worth it, record it and then it just happens - spoke humbly May and Taylor, authors of many timeless hits.
Most of them will hear on Saturday, Brian promised that they will play on the famous Red Special, the guitar, which he built with his father when he was 17 years old. - I played on it thousands of concerts and I always felt that my father is with me - he said.
- Not ruled anything out, yet are most important for us to live - as musicians said when asked whether the creation of a new album recorded with Lambert. What is certain is that it comes out in November, Roger Taylor's solo album.
