Dream Of Thee
Written by: Brian May
Musicians:
Brian May - vocals, guitars, programming, keyboards London Musicians Orchestra - strings Michael Reed - orchestration, conductor
- The only "song" on the album - Features Brian and an acoustic guitar and yes it still is based on the main Furia theme
PERSONAL NOTES: I love this track. It is HIGHLY underrated and rarely mentioned in the fanbase but it is a very beautiful song. In all honesty if he'd wanted this could have been *HIS* Love Of My Life.
NEXT? Brian did a few miscellaneous collaborations with the Foo Fighters and friend Tony Iommi and we'll cover tehm!

2000 LIVE02/19/00 - Roger Taylor Shepherds Bush Empire - London, UK w/SAS BAND Setlist w/Roger: Magic Is Loose/Radio Ga Ga - NOTE unfortunately Magic Is Loose was not filmed. It was the only time Roger has performed this solo track! I would much rather have heard that than the millionth time hearing Ga Ga but better Ga Ga than nothing 03/03/00 – Queen Earls Court – London, UK w/FIVE @ The Brits Setlist: We Will Rock You - Five was a British boy band in the vein of the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync. Not too many Queen fans were happy with this collaboration eitehr, BUT I will say that this performance and Queen's surprise appearance at The Brits (the UK equivalent to the Grammys) was pretty cool. 07/09/00 - Queen Hyde Park - London, UK w/FIVE @ Party In The Park Setlist: We Will Rock You/Tie Your Mother Down/(With A Little Help From My Friends - All Star Finale) - Tie Your Mother Down is unfortunately audio only. The second time Queen performs with Five. 09/14/00 - Brian May Cat Club - Los Angeles, CA, USA w/GILBY CLARKE & ERIC SINGER Setlist w/Brian: The Thrill Is Gone - Spur of the moment pop up with friends Gilby Clarke (formerly of Guns 'N Roses) and Eric Singer (of Kiss and of the last Brian May Band incarnation) 09/27/00 - Queen Millenium Dome - London, UK w/FIVE Setlist w/Queen: We Will Rock You - The final time of Queen & Five performing together. 10/22/00 - Brian May Brixton Academy - London, UK w/Motorhead Setlist w/Brian: Overkill - A show celebrating 25 years of Motorhead. Lemmy is a friend of Brian's and got him on stage to perform a Motorhead track. 12/14/00 - Roger Taylor Usher Hall - Edinburgh, UK w/SAS BAND Setlist w/Roger: A Kind of Magic/Radio Ga Ga/Strange Frontier/With A Little Help From My Friends (w/Fish) 12/15/00 - Roger Taylor Apollo - Manchester, UK w/SAS BAND Setlist w/Roger: A Kind of Magic/I Want To Break Free/Radio Ga Ga NEXT? Miscellaneous studio work in 2001. Not sure yet how many posts this will be, but we're starting with some of Brian's work, including a released track, and a few unreleased (as of yet tracks)

Talon, I salute you! (A long standing O ensues.....) You have lovingly brought Queen to life for me and for that you have my eternal thanks. Adam is my first musician that I have obsessively followed and the qualities that I so admire in Adam, essentially his loving humanity, I see reflected in the members of Queen. What an amazing tribute and labor of love to help us understand why you love the members Queen. I am honored you shared your expertise with us and you have definitely helped me fall in love with the members of Queen even more, especially Dr. Brian May. Not only does he write some of the most beautiful songs in the world and play amazing guitar, but he is so openlyl, decently, joyfully human. I might just have to steal him away from Seoulmate! I can't wait until there is more and, of course, see them all in concert here in the states. I have been able to meet many of the amazing people that populate Adamtopia through going to concerts including London. I one day hope to meet you too. You are amazing and I thank you with grateful tears.

BRIAN MAY - I DON'T WANT NOBODY (TEASIN' AROUND WITH ME)
Written by: Billy "The Kid" Emerson
Known musicians:
Brian May - vocals, guitar
- This non-album track only appears as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of Good Rocking Tonight – Legacy of Sun Records, a tribute to Sun Records, a very influential record label who discovered many top artists.
QUOTE: “Actually, I’ve been playing some blues lately. I’ve done a couple of tracks and I usually end up singing and not screaming; it’s in the range where I can put some passion into it. The funny thing is, I actually can scream. I just did this track for Scotty Moore on a Sun Records tribute. It starts off very quiet and then the guy screams because he’s totally pissed off…I did a version of that and I screamed it; the problem is that I can’t do it all night.” – Brian May
LIVE VERSION:
LIVE IN SWITZERLAND 2001
PERSONAL NOTES:
I LOVE this track. Love it. I wish it was more widespread. This might be Brian's best vocal he's ever laid down. Powerful, raging. Great rockin' track.
NEXT? A few miscellaneous tracks Brian laid down in 2001!

The above are most likely the lyrics or close to it.
- This song is unreleased by Brian, however it was recorded and released by blues artist Troy Turner which is where the lyrics came from. There does exists a demo from Brian that was played at a Queen convention but it is a bit rare.
TROY TURNER VERSION
UNTITLED DEMO[/u]
Written by: Brian May
Musicians:
Brian May - guitar
NO YT VID
- Written and recorded by Brian in 2001 and premiered a the 2010 Queen Fan Club Convention - Anthemic doodle with keyboards, Guitar, on top of a bed of programmed drums and piano. - It is unknown what it was intended for.
NEXT? We delve into the 2001 collaborations. Brian does a song with Robbie Williams (keeping up those pesky rumors going around at the time that Robbie was going to front Queen for a tour! And in a far more unsure fashion - Bob Geldof (the man behind Live Aid and good friends of Brian and Roger) decided to record his new studio album at Roger's home studio. Roger was credited for drums and backing vocals on the album but it is never quite detailed as to which tracks. SO instead of doing a track by track, I'll just give an overview of the album and notate what are my best guesses!

2001 Collaborations Part IBetween 1999 and 2001, Bob Geldof decided to record a new studio album, [b}Sex, Age, & Death[/b] at Roger's Cosford Mill studio. Roger and Bob are great friends harkening back to the Live Aid days (which Bob organized). When the album was released the credits stated that Roger played drums and sang backing vocals. Unfortunately there was no track by track credit. It also featured Keith Prior (drummer on the Electric Fire tour) and Joshua J Macrae (Cross drummer and Roger engineer)on drums. Joshua J Macrae also engineered this album. I gave the album a listen and this is my thoughts (shared by ultimatequeen.co.uk) 1. One For Me - Sounds like Rog on drums and backing vocals. 2. $6,000,000 Loser - I don't think Rog is on this one - it doesn't have his flair 3. Pale White Girls - I'm in between on this one - Rog may be on drums. 4. The New Routine - I don't think Rog is on this one. Definitely not on backing vocals - drums don't sound right either. 5. Mudslide - Not sure on this one - It could be Rog on drums or backing vocals. 6. Mind In Pocket - Again quite possible but I'm not certain 7. My Birthday Suit - There are no drums or backing vocals so I'd say no 8. Scream In Vain - No backing vocals but possibly on drums. 9. Inside Your Head - This one definitely has Rog on drums and backing vocals! 10. 10:15 - Like My Birthday Suit - no drums or backing vocals. 11. Young And Sober - No drums or backing vocals 'Sex, Age & Death II' promo album and 'Great Songs Of Indifference: The Bob Geldof Anthology 1986-2001' boxed set bonus tracks: 1. A Summer Day - London '05 No drums or backing vocals 2. Sighs And Whispers - Definitely not on backing vocals, drums don't sound like him. 3. Voodoo Child Definitely not on backing vocals, drums don't sound like him. 4. Two Dogs - This sounds like him on both. 5. Harvest Moon - Possibly on the drums? 6. A Summer Night - London '05 No drums or backing vocals 7. Pale White Girls (French mix)- Possibly on the drums 8. Cool Blue Easy - Definitely not on the backing vocals and the drums do not sound like him. 9. The Original Miss Jesus ('Sex, Age & Death II' album only) - Unsure. 10. Pity The Poor Drifter - Unsure. OK! It's a nice album. Very low key. Bob's voice is an acquired taste but he's a great songwriter and an all around amazing man. Next? Collaborations Part II only one song but it's a nice one as Brian works with Robbie Williams for Eternity
