But no Roger in the meet and greet. That makes me wonder if they are going to perform or not. Is it just going to be Brian and Adam? Is Roger busy in the UK doing either tour stuff or UK promotion? Just a thought...
and Queen Forever Deluxe Box Set? That sounds like more than just a 2 disc set...Maybe they got the wording wrong....

I really like Let Me Live, but... this sounds so much like Janis Joplin's "Take another piece of my heart"?? Did Queen do this first? Janis did hers far earlier. Queen's was a demo done initially in 1976 with Rod Stewart, and again revisited in 1984 but never finished. It's similarity may be one reason why the band didn't finish it. When looking for tracks to fill out Made In Heaven, Brian, Roger, and John finished the demo. The vid I posted was actually the initial version which was withdrawn due to the backing vocalists part being too close to Janis' version. Below is the actual album version. I prefer the withdrawn version despite the backing vocal similarities. I honestly don't think the main parts of the song sound anything like Janis' but I can see where the withdrawn backing vocals do. This is the one that was actually released on Made In Heaven. It takes out the offending portions of the backing vocals

Another song I'd REALLY like to see them tackle is Let Me Live.... It's a glam rock church thing THis was from the posthumous Made In Heaven album. Brian and Roger added verses to Freddie's to complete the song but it sounds so natural. I'd love to see them do it exactly as it is here....Adam sings the first verse and the choruses, Roger sings the second verse and bridge, and Brian sings the third verse and then they all sing various bits and bobs during the end :D Not bloody likely unfortunately but I would love it

I am sure they will change the setlist a bit -- but I expect it to be pretty much the same setlist and they will certainly keep all the hits from the summer tour. I think there is a very, very slim chance "Innuendo" could be added -- it was #1 in the UK, #5 in Germany -- but it is so complex, I doubt it. The coolest possible moment would be if Steve Howe showed up to play his guitar part with Brian. (Yes' Tour will be over in January and I believe he still lives in London.) It is not happen but I was dreaming. And without that, I can't see them coming up with a way to perform it that would not disappoint fans. Some of the other UK hits seem likely to make the setlist: "Don't Stop Me Now", "I Want to Break Free", "A Kind of Magic", "I Want It All", "One Vision" all seem likely candidates. I have a feeling that they will keep "Dragon Attack" in -- just because Adam likes it so much and the show worked better with that song in. I think they will pick a new deep track -- but I do not think it will be either WQ or YTMBA. My guess is that Adam will avoid non-hits that are too much associated with Freddie -- that eliminates YTMBA. And only really old fans know WQ. It will definitely be a similar set list. They aren't going to change it up *THAT* much. It will still open with Procession/Now I'm Here. It will still close with WWRY/Champions. It will still probably have Bo Rap as the last song before the encore and there will still be a middle section where Brian does Love Of My Life/'39 and Roger does Days of Our Lives or Magic and there will still be a guitar solo. Innuendo? Fans have clamored for it since 1991. It deserves a proper live performance as the one time it was performed at the 1992 Freddie Tribute Robert Plant made a bit of a mess of it (although I did appreciate the few lines of Kashmir that he threw in the middle of it as it was a bit of a nod to that type of song). But Q3 hit the nail on the head....I think that Brian won't want to put the work in on the complex track when he can rely on old standbys that he can play in his sleep A new deep track is possible...I'm hoping so, but I'm not holding out too much hope. If they do it won't be TOOO deep. I think YTMBA is *VERY* Freddie. I think Adam would sing it fine, but I think they will not approach something *THAT* Freddie if they don't have to... White Queen is still doubtful - the only hope I really see is that if the band is still in Rainbow mod, they might see fit to add it.

I would really like to hear Save me and Too Much Love Will Kill You and Keep Passing the Open Window. Also for Brian to sing Words of Love and Roger to sing Drowse Save Me is a definite possibility. I'm surprised they haven't done it yet. I think the only thing holding it back is that it's yet another power ballad. TMLWKY would be nice but I'd doubt it. Brian's kept it mostly a Brian solo song...only performing it with "Queen" twice. Once with Pavarotti at his request an once with Katie Melua at her request. If Adam requested it than maybe but I don't see it happening. Keep Passing The Open WIndows? You have a better chance at winning the lottery. Brian singing Las Palabras De Amor would almost definitely happen if they went to South America OR perhaps even Spain...otherwise probably not. Drowse? See Keep Passing The Open Window. I so would love to hear "Princes of the Universe". It's such a powerful song - Brian's guitar in this is awesome ... and it is vocally very challenging. But come on - who could do this but Adam???? Oh, and "White Queen" is a must for this leg of the tour!!!!! Well...Freddie could I kid :D Another doubtful one unfortunately as I would *LOVE* to see it happen. White Queen is possible if they are still in Rainbow mode. That's the one I really want although I'm trying to temper my wants/ It's been over 35 years since it's been done... As for tweets Nic showed on Brian's feed.... One Year Of Love - 0% Good Old Fashioned Loverboy - 30% One Vision - 40% Fight From The Inside - 0% Dragon Attack - 90% Innuendo - 25% Prophet's Song - 15% In The Lap of the Gods (if they meant the original and not revisited like I think) 0% - Revisited 99% Somebody To Love - 99% Who Wants To Live Forever - 99% Headlong - 40% (I think Brian could be convinced to break this out) The Show Must Go On - 85% I'm Going Slightly Mad - 0% Death On Two Legs - 15% (more if Brian gets the idea to dedicate it to David Cameron) Fat Bottomed Girls -99% Seven Seas Of Rhye - 99% Now im Here - 99% Mustapha - 0% (maybe an intro if an unruly crowd screams for it) Nevermore (beyond the bass solo) - 5% (Neil playing it made Roger smile...still very doubtful) Let Me Entertain You - 25% I Was Born To Love You - 25% Love Of My Life - 99% Need Your Loving Tonight - 0% Long Away 35% (as part of Brian's pre Love Of My Life thing possibly) In Only Seven Days - 0% Love Kills - 75% Under Pressure - 99% You Don't Fool Me - 0% Don't Stop Me Now - 50% It's Late - 15% (I would LOVE this one too almost as much as White Queen) Keep Yourself Alive - 50% Sail Away Sweet Sister - 5% Rock It (Prime Jive) - 0% Breakthru - 5%

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On my way to London in January! lelemaple, I have an old raincoat, and it better work, cuz I've shot my wad on airfare and performance tickets!!! Still need tickets to O2 first night . . . but I'll figure that one out . . . there's still time!! Do you think it's possible that 'White Queen', 'Take My Breath Away', and 'Get Down Make Love' might be in the set list? Q3? Whaddya think? "Get down, make love You take my body I give you heat You say you hungry I give you meat I suck your mind You blow my head Make love" You'd have to scrape me off the floor if Adam sang those lyrics. Sweep me up with the scattered confetti. Not Q3 but in order of most likely to least likely: You Take My Breath Away Get Down Make Love White Queen. However I would be highly doubtful on all three if I'm honest :(

Congrats to all who are planning to go. You'll have a blast :D A bit O/T but for anyone who had any interest in getting into Roger Taylor's solo career, he is releasing a Best Of in October: Queen OnlineAmazonIt's a good mix of all his solo albums (not any of his stuff with the Cross). It's not QUITE what I would have put on a Best of, but it's not bad at all!

Hey guys, quick question....I've been a bit distracted the past few days...I saw the 3 song official broadcast from Tokyo of NIH/SCC/Born To Love You. But I thought I saw somewhere that there had been a longer one? Am I just delusional. If not does anyone have a longer broadcast video downloaded they could point out to me? Thanks! I think there will be a longer, 30 minute set, aired in October. At least that's what I got from speed reading. Thanks! :D
