See how I slipped in Adam's name to make this a topical post? But I can do better topicality:

Q3, just read part 2 recap of Kissmas Bash. I also came away from the concert with the exact same feelings. I couldn't put my finger on it, but you nailed it. Adam looked and sounded great, but something was missing. Having to wait for Adam's setup and having so many people leave just before Adam came on took so much energy out of the building.I am from the Buffalo area and Adam is not well known here and is seldom played on the radio. Many people I talk to are surprised he is still performing. They do remember him from AI though. I really missed the excitement in the air that I felt at other concerts where everyone was there to see Adam Lambert, the best entertainer ever! Reminded me of the concert he gave at a casino years ago where many in the audience were older gamblers who really had little interest in Adam Lambert. My seats were not on the floor, so there were a lot of children in my section because the seats were less expensive.I love watching them (not hearing them!), but very few preteens can sit for 5 hours to listen to one artist sing for 30 min. Their parents deserve medals or certifications of lunacy for being there. Have already decided.... no more radio shows for me, especially if it is one that attracts preteens like this one. this crowd only wants to hear songs they know. no filler. if they can't sing along, you lost them. adam may have been better off just doing gt, aln, iihy (regular) and a cover in the middle of the show. short, upbeat, generally recognizable, and leave them wanting more Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards nannygoat I do not think this particular show was a good fit for Adam but other radio shows have been great for him -- like KIIS Los Angeles Wango Tango. These were not just young teens, they were very conservative young teens and their parents. I think that is because the big draw was Shawn Mendez. Very different than the crowd at a 5SOS or Selena Gomez concert -- which are also filled with young teens. Other artists did songs the audience did not know but they were similar to the hit songs the audience knew -- except for Alyssia Carr whose hit song is not anything else like the rest of her music. *** oracle I agree with you, this might have been a great time for Adam to pull out "Shout" (a good sing-along pop song) and "This Is Love." And maybe a holiday song. It was a very Christmassy show. But I think it is better for Adam to be Adam and to promote his album. If 50 or 100 people in the audience like the music that is great. If he did some other music, it really doesn't accomplish much. Finally, I really enjoyed this whole concert and will consider going to KISSMAS Bash 2016 -- even without Adam.

Cassie, I don't think Bieber is actually playing the piano in that clip. Not saying he can't play but it just doesn't look to me like he is. The timing of those notes is very jarring against what the vocal is doing, it would be hard to concentrate on both things at once. Can you imagine Adam behind a piano? He's much better on top of it.

Ok, now you have to post all videos with Adam on top of a piano! MTN from Glee, soething from pre-Idol also i think. I'd do it but too hard from my cell.

It seems it lets you vote 25 times after which you get "we already counted your vote" message... IDK how long the cool off period is...but I do know it's not too long, may be an hour or two at most... ETA: tried again only 15 mins later and I can vote again. I voted for the last hour straight and just got the message. Gonna try another device Doesn't seem to be anyone voting against us right now so if you like to see percents rise while you are voting, now is the time. www.at40.com/pages/who-will-be-number-1

ETA: I guess I better qualify this by saying it is all "In My Opinion" and YMMV. Cassie, your comment reminded me of a funny recurring bit on The Good Wife. One of the judges (played by Ana Gasteyer) who presides over many of the cases featured on the show insists that every remark by every lawyer must include the phrase "in my opinion." This gets to sounding really silly after awhile. (See clip below for an example.)

Don't know if he is playing it or not. Didn't really pay attention. But, I could teach anyone with ten fingers to play that piano accompaniment in ten minutes, and that is being generous. THAT is not being a pianist. Those who think that Adam is not a REAL musician because he doesn't play an instrument.... he could easily play piano like this, or strum three chords on a guitar like many WGWG do, actually. It is basic piano or guitar 101. So glad he doesn't bother trying. Let him concentrate on being the outstanding vocalist he is.

I really don't want to like jb, but I couldn't resist with this last album. it's all about the song in pop. very little about the vocal. if you can carry a tune and have a great song, you're golden. adam's material has never quite lived up to expectations. almost. really close. just not quite there
