Audio Game - Day 2 Song: Who Wants To Live ForeverAs I mentioned last Fri/Sat, we have 2 HQ recordings for the 2018 London O2 shows. Each recording has different characteristics. We made a mix of the 2 recordings which we hope is better than each of the 2 recordings individually. To evaluate the success of the mix, we would like to play a little game. Each day I will post links to 3 audio files for the same song, one from each of the 2 recordings and one from the mixed recording. I'm not going to tell you which is which - they will be marked "A", "B", & "C" and it will change daily. I'm also not going to tell you which O2 concert the files are from. What I want from you all is to give me feed back on what you think of each recording. My feelings will not be hurt by any negative feedback on the audio. We are looking for honest feedback so that we can make the processed recordings better. I've uploaded the files in 3 formats: M4A, MP3 & FLAC. (FLAC is the best quality!) Choose which one you like. Each link will take you to that 1 song on Mega with a very prominent download button. For the M4A files only, you can also play the song directly on the Mega page!(Direct play might not work on Macs.) Please give the following feedback in the thread: 1) Which version do you like best & 2nd best? And why? 2) Which format did you listen to, FLAC, M4A, or MP3? 3) Did you listen on a PC or on a Smartphone? 4) Did you listen using speakers, headphones or earbuds? If speakers, was it the speaker on the PC or a better speaker? If you want to guess which recording is mine, Nick's, or the mix, please send that to me in a PM. I'd like to get everyone's reaction to the recordings before saying which recording is which. M4A - Play and/or DownloadWho Wants To Live Forever - AWho Wants To Live Forever - BWho Wants To Live Forever - CMP3 - Download OnlyWho Wants To Live Forever - AWho Wants To Live Forever - BWho Wants To Live Forever - CFLAC - Download OnlyWho Wants To Live Forever - AWho Wants To Live Forever - BWho Wants To Live Forever - CP.S. This is the 2nd out of 8 songs in the game. At the end of the game, I will give a full review of the feedback, including which recordings A, B, & C refer to.
ETA - I fixed the links so that the M4A links go to the M4A files instead of the MP3 files, etc.

Bringing this over from yesterday's thread:
I love to read and see videos of people talking about Adam's voice, and opining on how extraordinary it is. I am thinking about conducting an interview with Angelina Kalahari and asking her questions that fans have about Adam's voice. So, if you could ask one question of a voice expert about Adam's singing, voice and performance, what would it be? I will compile the questions and share with Angelina.
And, do you think a 15 minute video of her answers would be more interesting than an audio or a blog?
Thanks for your input.

One question I want to ask Angelina is whether there is any concern that Adam will hurt his voice singing two hour Queen shows 3-4 times a week for several months. So far, everything has been great, but so many singers do damage their voices. How is Adam able to maintain his?

Another question: So many people comment that Adam sounds even better live than on studio recordings. Why is that?

I wish I knew exactly how to explain the one particular sound I love when Adam sings. It is a very clear but tender and resounding tone almost like the end of a bell toll. He doesn't do it as much with the Queen songs but I hear it when he sings his own ballads. I'll spend some time and find an example.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=smpIyBFY7-8One of my treasures - the rare occasion Adam sings without the mic. Who needs tech & tricks when he does all those special effects with his voice. I would want to hear Adam in one of those Italian palaces, cathedrals, opera houses build by special design to amplify the voice. He'd be one of those singers who would make the stained glass shake

Or the sound that I absolutely love. Here's an example: The first a capella verse before the chorus. Is this what you mean? www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjiuEM0mLNI
