Oops...got this e-mail. When I went to the Content ID matches section, this along with two of my Soaked Vids from last summer are listed. Are the police on the way to arrest me? Dear needacoke, Your video, ATOP Glam Nation Live DVD Party at Mayumi's Atlanta April 2, 2011, may have content that is owned or licensed by Sony ATV Publishing. No action is required on your part; however, if you are interested in learning how this affects your video, please visit the Content ID Matches section of your account for more information. Sincerely, - The YouTube Team Bummer! Can you put a disclaimer or something? Surely this is not for profit, just a group of fans celebrating and who have bought many, many copies of the CD/DVD. Cassie, Lynneville and Mischa - can you PM your email addresses? I want to send you the pictures DH took. Sweet, but "No" they won't buy that. What you can do is 1) Upload it again with a weird title (like Suz did with STMNBN) or 2) Make it private, with a password and give your friends the password.

Susie, I love this! Just a question, why do you think Neil Patrick Harris is so accepted and loved in his straight TV role as a womanizer?

abusive when they do that to animals. they would have had to put chemicals to bleach out the natural color and then chemicals to dye the yellow. makes my stomach turn. Been gone all day, just returned home. I apologize for upsetting you, we love animals too. This is what they said about the picture. Not real, it is photo shopped. Again my apologies, I will be more careful about what I post in the future. Pikachu Kitty CULTURE BUZZ Cute or weird? Don’t worry animal lovers, this is actually a photoshopped image and not a painted cat.

SusieFierce One of the women said, "Like Kevin Spacey, he couldn't play the role in 'American Beauty' if he was out, no one would believe him."I said, "Oh no, he certainly could play it. He did. And he did it brilliantly, winning an Oscar." HIS performance would have been the exact same either way, it's OUR perception of that performance that would have been different, so the problem lies with us, not him or his abilities as an actor.
She and her husband both kind of had a lightbulb moment and said, "You're right. I hadn't thought of it that way, but yes, we're the ones who have to shift our thinking."
I went on to point out that gay people have been playing straight roles brilliantly for decades, if not centuries, so the issue isn't with them playing the roles, it's about us dropping any preconceived notion about who can play what. (ETA: Meant to add that straight people have played gay roles brilliantly as well.) The role should go to the actor most suitable to convey the part; his or her orientation should have absolutely nothing to do with it.
Brilliant. And for those who say that our preconceived notions cannot be changed-- I say BS. They can. They do. They have. Human beings have a remarkable ability to evolve, but often have to be pushed into it kicking and screaming. Thank the universe for Adam and his refusal to accept anything less than full equality in the face of resistance. I'm hoping he will be the one to SHATTER the pink glass ceiling for gays in straight acting roles-- but even if he doesn't, he will make a crack big enough for upcoming generations to break through.

Susie, I love this! Just a question, why do you think Neil Patrick Harris is so accepted and loved in his straight TV role as a womanizer? You know, I was tripping ... at one point, one of the guys said something about NPH and was only peripherally aware that he was out. He really had no idea about how public NPH is; it's amazing how many people don't follow pop culture at all. ???

I accidentally clicked on the Country Music Awards and would have clicked on by but there was Steven Tyler singing with Carrie Underwood!! And it was really fun....the crowd was going ballistic. They just announced another upcoming duet with someone [country but don't remember/know the name] and Rhianna!! They are really trying to blur the genre boundaries....this is not the country I used to know...Adam could go country yet!!! If Steven can do it.....hahahaha

Mayumi, thanks so much to you and your husband for hosting such a great DVD screening party and providing a fabulous feast and an awesome media room to watch the concert! It was so nice to get a chance to spend some time with other members here. I held off on watching the DVD beforehand and it was so much fun to experience it for the first time with other enthusiastic fans. I was struck anew by what a showman Adam is, what a nonstop performance the Glam Nation concert was and, with the broad view, by how wonderfully he worked the stage while sounding fantastic. I felt how fierce and fearless he was on stage (seemed the definition of badass) and how committed he remained to his vision for the show and the image (and moods) he wanted to project throughout the 60 minutes. It was so impressive. And it was cool to get a sense of what it was like to be on stage and look out on the audience from the band's perspective, too. So happy we have the DVD!
Thanks again, lynneville and bamafan, for the videos!

OT but I'm watching a show on cable called 'Queen and Paul Rogers'. Sorry...he's no Freddie. Just doesn't have Freddie's voice, energy, and stage presence. I know Adam would 'kill it' and be amazing on a Freddie tribute concert with Queen. Hopefully it will happen someday down the road. Does anyone know how long Paul Rogers was with Queen and why he left?
