OT but I'm watching a show on cable called 'Queen and Paul Rogers'. Sorry...he's no Freddie. Just doesn't have Freddie's voice, energy, and stage presence. I know Adam would 'kill it' and be amazing on a Freddie tribute concert with Queen. Hopefully it will happen someday down the road. Does anyone know how long Paul Rogers was with Queen and why he left? Adamrocks - you made me curious enough to go and look it up...Wikipedia says that Paul started to sing with Queen in late 2004, and was lead singer for their 2004 European tour. He continued to tour with them (although he also did a solo tour in there) until 2009. He announced he was leaving Queen on May 14, 2009...which is, I guess, partly why the "Adam" rumours started!

abusive when they do that to animals. they would have had to put chemicals to bleach out the natural color and then chemicals to dye the yellow. makes my stomach turn. Been gone all day, just returned home. I apologize for upsetting you, we love animals too. This is what they said about the picture. Not real, it is photo shopped. Again my apologies, I will be more careful about what I post in the future. Pikachu Kitty CULTURE BUZZ Cute or weird? Don’t worry animal lovers, this is actually a photoshopped image and not a painted cat. It's funny to me that many people were immediately suspicious that the Sauli/Katri photo in the Hollywood hills was photoshopped (I think it's real, although whether it was taken at Adam's house is still a question), yet accepted the yellow cat photo as real. The cat picture looked totally photoshopped to me at first glance, and I'm glad to hear that it was.

Hey peeps, Just checking in really quickly to report (OT) that the Scissor Sisters concert was really bad ass. So much fun. I would LOVE for Adam to write with these guys. AMW and Mrs AMW and LindaG23 were there, too, but unfortunately we didn't find them cause the hubby and I arrived late from our anniversary dinner. But I hear (over the fence) that they all loved it too, and danced their asses off (get it, girls!). Basically every song was great, but my particular favorites (sorry for the youtubespamming, scroll away if you like): And of course, this, which had the whole crowd jumping up and down, dancing: Hubby particularly liked Jake's outfits, lol! (Hubby: "How does he keep the hat from falling off?"): A GOOD TIME WAS MOST DEFINITELY HAD BY ALL!

Thanks for the information, Marysue. Aww....this concert just doesn't have the 'energy' that Freddie brought to the stage. Sad. :(

I'll never forget this weekend. Mayumi and Mr. Mayumi really outdid themselves to make us comfortable and feed us well. Mayumi is a gourmet cook! Oh my, the food! A huge treat was Mayumi telling us the story of how she and Mr. Mayumi met. Funny, funny story! So nice to put a face to some of the posters I love here and get to know them a little bit! Mayumi's screen is so big in her theater room that it looks like our group is actually at the concert but all these peeps with the glow sticks are Atopians. The only one recognizable is bama who is at the left of the screen. This weekend was so much fun! Sorry to rub it in for those who could not be here. But, I have to say "thanks" and "kudos" to Mr. and Mrs. Mayumi --- the BEST HOSTS IN THE WORLD! And for those who teased me about insisting that the first watching of the DVD be done in silence -- no talking or singing along --- this YT by needacoke is all the proof I will ever need that I was right! We all appreciate Adam's voice, but we sure can't sing worth a damn together.
