4.5.11 Adam News & Info

I am really happy that you all are enjoying the Drag Race but I wish someone would post some vids, somehow, if we are going to discuss this because we poor peeps from outside the US cannot access it. LogoTV will not let Canucks watch, Youtube vids must be removed immediately because all you can generally see are other peeps opinions, and I cannot get it on my tv. It is really frustrating!!! grrrr....I want to see it too.....feeling very deprived...

Well, I'm caught up and have to say thanks, Jamie, for asking the question about Adam in person, because it was great reading everyone's impressions!

Susie, I think you're 3-D as opposed to 2-D is spot on--except I've still never felt such a vibe from any other person I've met in RL after seeing only pics of them, so...maybe Adam comes in 4-D? or the Fifth Dimension? (LOL, I've forgotten everything I ever knew about different dimensions!) He's just AD-DIMENSIONAL!

And I laughed at the stories of those who, like me, just watched him go down the line! I was just speechless and mesmerized. I did yell "you rock! after he kissed that lady, but he was already ten feet away before I could make my tongue move. I really want to meet him sometime, but I just don't know if I could handle it. I'd have to do a terrific amount of creative visualization ahead of time! (and probably borrow some xanax!)

Also, agree with those who are lovin' Sutan. He is one gorgeous man, too! That Drag Race lip sync was HOT! and this performance just kills me!

[/b] What a natural pro. In some ways, it really couldn't be any less of a surprise that he's now surrounded by his first choice of eager peers in the studio who themselves buzz about how wonderful he his, producing fantastic music for Adam 2. OF COURSE HE IS.

By the way, thanks to all of you who've posted your up-close-and-personal w/Adam experiences tonight--I've loved reading them. I've seen him perform live a number of times, but never up close off stage, so it's been very nice learning about it. (Hoopla, loved your story with the older lady.) Many of you say how much slighter and more delicate he seems in person, which I fully believe (I did see Monte and Longineu up close before a couple of shows, and that rule held for them, too--much smaller in person)--but it really interests me, because ON STAGE (and I've gotten pretty close to the stage a number of times, though not right up front) he's really LARGER THAN LIFE, all long legs and broad shoulders and charisma and attitude he seems a fabulous goliath. THIS so much, MWP!! I was blown away by that interview. A seasoned politician could not have done it any better. He must've been in absolute emotional turmoil, yet he handled it with such grace and ease. He didn't buckle under the pressure and HOW he managed not to be defensive or emotional, I will NEVER know.

My throat would been so constricted with emotion and worry that even if I managed to cover up my anxiety, I couldn't imagine being able to handle all that then be able to sing beautifully live. He is unreal in this way. I've been in media a long time and have known many professionals, and everyone gets flustered at times, especially when they are dealing with a lot of things thrown at them at once. He was the epitome of grace under pressure.
