The first time I saw Adam up close was at the Newark Idols Live concert at the barricade. The one where he "dusted" the Lambskank girl's boob before signing it. Good times! LOL I spoke to a lot of the S8 performers who preceded Adam at barricade that night: Anoop, Danny, Allison and Lil. Then came Adam. And what did I say to him? Nada... I just looked at him signing stuff and absorbed that he was right in front of me. The second time I saw Adam up close was at the Melbourne buses. Allison came at fences to sign stuff first and I believe we said hi to her. Adam came out after and my girlfriend and I proceeded to... stare at him and not utter a word. Third I see him I will try to remedy that no talking thing... LOL He is way better looking in person (and that's saying a lot cuz he is amazing in pics) and is smaller up close. He also moves in a very graceful and somewhat delicate manner. Don't know if I'm describing it well but, to me, he is a tall, slender, graceful & gorgeous man. He also has Presence with a capital "P" - an "It" factor, if you will. I imagine it would be very hard to not notice him even if he was sitting quietly in a room. I was also at the barricdes at Melbourne concert up by the fence have some great pics. He was still in makeup and that huge pomp. He signed my ticket stub. Then I followed the buses and they ended up at my hotel. I could hardly breath going into the hotel. I found a seat in front of the door and he came in with the bus driver, he look like a Norwegian God, he stand so straight and the high pomp looked 7 ft tall. So beautiful in person. I wish I had taken out my video but I was so excited. This is a once in a life time experience I know. Mebourne was my first concert.

Oh wait! Found today's news thread. Q3 forgot to sticky it, so it fell to the bottom of the archived news stack.
Lemme see if I can fix it.

I'm sifting through my Adam bookmarks. I couldn't remember what this was by the title and had to click on it. Any of you who are newer on board might have missed it from right after his album was released. Always a laugh, this interview (hot toddy's sp?). Adam is so funny.. a good comedy for his first film..His timing is great

All this talk about Adam on the Early Show prompted me to go back and watch both the spring and the post AMA appearances. I agree that the interview after the AMA show was amazing in the way he presented himself. Don't know how he held it together so professionally and graciously. But, the spring appearance also blew me away. That "Mad World" performance was so pure, so beautiful. From a singer's perspective, I marvel that he was able to sing like that so early in the morning. Singers need time to get their voice warmed up and their body ready to go before singing. When you first wake up your sinuses are a bit stuffy, your throat is coated with phlegm (sorry to be so graphic, but it's true), and it is very difficult to sing with a clear, pure tone. If I had to sing that early in the morning I would probably just not go to sleep the night before, so that I would be thoroughly warmed up. Don't know how Adam managed it, but he did it perfectly. One explanation for the clarity in this video is probably because he got so little sleep during this whirlwind time.
