Summary of this article from Sina News, Evening edition ent.sina.com.cn/y/2012-12-03/12373802 … tl.gd/k86aqa via hclulessSummary of this article from Sina News, Evening editionent.sina.com.cn/y/2012-12-03/12373802267.shtmlPopular Idol Adam Lambert Will Hold A Concert In Shanghai Next Spring Interview by Li Jiajie The recently frequent visitor Adam Lambert confessed that the potential of this huge Chinese market is not to be ignored by any international artist. “Next Spring my tour will come to Shanghai” The way J-Pop and K-Pop artists combine hair, makeup, clothes and styling to give their music a visual impact is very eye opening to Adam. It’s a style he’d always preferred. They are very different from the American performance style. He felt happy and surprised he found his kind of people. Compared to those former singing competition contestants, who were eager to shed the ‘competition contestant’ stigma; Adam has no problem with that. ‘I will not avoid my past. I used to be a failure, rejected after numerous audition for musicals and TV appearance. But my dream never fades. I’m still pursuing my dream. The difference is I gained a huge opportunity.’ more..

Re: Finland concert.....It seems that a good proportion of the better seats these days, (Finland or anywhere, presumably)are offered later - perhaps because those that rush to buy are very keen and will buy seats even if they aren't great which leaves good seats to tempt those more casual buyers. For the Queen concerts in London, almost the only seats open to the presale were in the back third of the Hall - selling the most difficult to sell seats to those most anxious to buy.
Also it seems important for PR to be able to give the impression that venues sell out immediately - this happened with Queenbert as well. It's wrong...not fair on the real fans...but nothing to do with the artist, I'm sure

Gale Whittington @galechester YT Video w Translation by soakedwithal: ADAM LAMBERT Mention on Vietnam's VTV1 Show Cultural Destination Dec 5,... fb.me/1Ld0JMscg Published on Dec 5, 2012 by soakedwithal Adam Lambert Fanclub Việt Nam - adamlambertfcvn.comAdam Lambert đã được nhắc đến trong chương trình "Điểm hẹn văn hóa" trên đài VTV1 hôm nay 05.12 khi giới thiệu về đêm hòa nhạc và biểu diễn nghệ thuật Hennessy Artistry 2012 tổ chức tại Thượng Hải (Trung Quốc) đêm 2.12 Đoạn video đã được quay lại bởi camera cá nhân và chỉ để lại phần liên quan đến Adam Lambert ---- Translations:Adam Lambert was mentioned in the "Cultural Destination" program on VTV1 channel today (05.12.2012) while introducing the Hennessy Artistry 2012 event in Shanghai (China). The video was filmed from personal camera and edited for Adam's parts only. English translation (with Adam's mention). We do apologize if there is any English mistake: "If you a fan of the runner-up of American Idol 2009 - Adam Lambert, Aurea from Portugal, Mayday from Taiwan, just don't go away in next few minutes because we will meet all of them in a real big music event which was just organized in Shanghai, China - the Hennessy Artistry 2012. Through all the artists that participated with own self-determination to pursue the music dream, Hennessy Artistry this year has brought a meaningful message: "Dare to overcome all the obstacles to live your own dreams." If I Had You, the famous #hit was sung by the runner up American Idol 2009 - Adam Lambert - seemed to "burn" the whole stage with more than 1000 audience. In order to stand on the stage and become a big star like today, only few people know that Adam Lambert has worked really hard. With the dream of music since earlier days, Adam first started doing theater when he was 9 acting in local plays or joining the jazz band at school. In 2000, Adam's life has been turned to a new page when he decided to withdraw from the university to pursue own music dream. And now the earlier dream has become true. Adam: "I am very happy to be on the same stage with other Asia representatives, music is the global language that make people come close. And I do hope to come to Vietnam soon. "Xin chào Việt Nam" (his real voice) - Hello Vietnam" Hennessy Artistry has fulfilled the expectations of the Shanghai people with amazing music space, great sound and light and the 3D effects. Adam Lambert brought the pop-rock-electro, Aurea brought soul, Mayday brought rock [........]"

I feel so bad right now :( I got tickets at katsomo 315, and those were the best seats that were available at the time, cost 60e each. And now there are best seats of the house for 70euros........ I'm so disappointed for the whole ticket selling thing... I don't have afford to buy another tickets, but I would have been able to spent 10 euros more... this really sucks. My first bigger concert and I was buying the tickets early as i could....... I think im gonna cry now Im still really excited to hear and maybe see Adam live, but I don't think that I can see anything from 315............ :-/

I'm sure some of the wording is slightly skewed because of translation, but still ... Adam has no problem with that. ‘I will not avoid my past. I used to be a failure, rejected after numerous audition for musicals and TV appearance ... But my dream never fades. I’m still pursuing my dream. The difference is I gained a huge opportunity. :2tears:  :2tears:  YOU GO, Adam!!! (And as we all know, he didn't expect any of this when he auditioned for Idol, but he went in, confident, prepared and believing anything was possible and he kicked ass.)

If you look at the major submissions in this category this year, the competition isn't that Great. If you look at album sales this year, they are not that great. Like tinafea said, I am not a toddler that is going to throw a tantrum. I just can't spend my days expecting the least in situations so I won't get disappointed. I can't! As far as I know, the Grammy submissions list has not leaked in total so we do not know who was submitted. Based on what has leaked, we do know some of the submissions in this category. Here are a few: Adam Lambert #1 US 152K+ Justin Bieber #1 Platinum Kelly Clarkson #1 Platinum Coldplay #1 Platinum Lana Del Rey #2 US 408K, Platinum in many countries Florence + the Machine #6 US 717K, Platinum in many countries fun #3, US 658K Nora Jones #2 Madonna #1 US 518K Maroon 5 #2 US 700K [missed #1 by < 1,000 units] John Mayer #1 US 500K+ Jason Mraz #2 US 252K One Direction #1 US 1.4 million P!nk #1 US 700K+ Rihanna #3 US 850K Usher #1 US 373K Looks like a tough field to me -- not based on my personal taste but based on who is likely to get votes. ETA: I am not disagree that Adam could get nominated, just not agreeing that the field in not that competitive or that album sales are low.

Definitely last time I will do anything like this. Boy do I feel stupid.
