She thinks that view is #Paradise??? There are a lot of 5 stars Hotels and Villas in Bali that have MORE beautiful view than the Mulia Hotel. Believe me! Hotel like Grand Hyat Bali, Bali Cliff, Ritz Carlton Bali, and then there're what they call Boutique hotels/villas, such as the Aman group hotels, etc. Some of these boutique hotels/villas we don't know they exist, because most celebrity and rich people go there when they want to hide.

That view may not be paradise, but I wouldn't say no to a vacation there!

Just dropping off one of my favourite acoustic versions of 'Trespassing'. I think it has been overlooked or forgotten maybe, but comes with an awesome interview section and killer vocals! Enjoy...... Thank you!!

adamlambert Les Mis: Visually impressive w great Emotional performances. But the score suffered massively with great actors PRETENDING to be singers. adamlambert ...it's an opera. Hollywoods movie musicals treat the singing as the last priority. (Dreamgirls was good) adamlambert Anne Hathaway as Fantine and Enjolras were the exceptions for me. adamlambert Helena B Carter and Sasha B Cohen were great too. adamlambert And I do think it was cool they were singing live- but with that cast, they should have studio recorded and sweetened the vocals. adamlambert Eponine's voice was cool too... adamlambert I felt like I should ignore the vocals and focus on the emotional subtext- but the singing was so distracting at times it pulled me out. adamlambert The industry will say "these actors were so brave to attempt singing this score live"but why not cast actors who could actually sound good? adamlambert Sorry for being so harsh but it's so True! So Agree 100% Adam!!

I agree with pretty much everything he said here. Hugh Jackman is no Colm Wilkinson, and while he may do well in some musicals, he was just not right for Valjean. His singing made my skin itch. Same with Crowe and the girl playing Cosette. Anne was one of the very few good parts of that movie. And still can't figure why they felt a need to add "Suddenly." Such a waste of space, serving nothing to add to the story, and they shortened at least three songs that would have helped to flesh out scenes. Oh I am so sorry to hear that - I have been waiting so eagerly for this movie. In Germany it will be starting next March.... so is it still a good movie???? I liked it, but I had a lot of issues with the direction. A lot of the movie is shot from the shoulders up on whoever is singing, so it feels very claustrophobic. Many scenes would have served better with a wider angle. Which is a shame, as there was so much detail to costumes and scenery. Also, as Adam said, there was a lot of stunt casting that treated the singing as secondary to the people. Russel wasn't nearly as bad as I thought he would be, but he wasn't really up to the songs. Jackman sang as if he were on stage, so he was rather shouty and overly expressive. He really lacked subtlety in singing, BUT when merely talking (well, sing talk) we did great. In many ways, they drug out the first act, leaving the second act feeling rushed. They cut 'Drink With Me', 'Dog Eat Dog' and 'Turning' in half (or more) which only added to that feeling (and why I think 'Suddenly' was a waste). It was a serviceable adaptation, just not as good as it could have been.

Q3 comment: Taylor Swift conversation is closed. Back to Adam. Thanks.Actually what is being discussed is how public perception of the person bears no resemblance to their "actual" behavior. Public perception of Miley Cyrus is that she is a slut, yet she has been engaged for 3 years to the same guy but public perception of Taylor is that she is sweet and innocent despite being involved (at whatever level) with many many guys. Miley has not been engaged for 3 years...unless of course we believe she got engaged when she was 17 years old? Allow me to do a little Q3 style research on Miley: 2006-2007 Nick Jonas (she was 14) Sept 08 - June 09 Justin Gaston Sept 09 - August 10 - Liam (current fiance) Nov 2010 - Mike Posner (just a rumor but we know if it's a rumor when it comes to these ladies and their men it must be true) Dec 2010 - Fling with Avan Jogia Feb 2011 - Josh Bowman (again just a rumor) April 2011 to present - Liam Miley is 3 years younger than Taylor. Maybe she got lucky and found "her one" or maybe they'll break up and she'll be back on the market. Who knows I like Miley too but Taylor and her aren't even remotely similar in their choices. Lest we forget that Miley has also been video taped smoking a synthetic pot and partying long before she was legally old enough to do so and that might play a bit of a role in why she's labeled and Taylor isn't. [deleted by Q3 -- this comment was a broad generalization that was offensive. If you have a question, please PM.]

I thought it was a very good movie, and loved that they paid homage to Wilkenson. by casting him as the priest. hooper tends to blur everything out and focus on the actors' faces, which drew attention to their singing. They were actors as singers, not singers as actors. I have seen the play live 4 times--London, Toronto, Boston, and Columbus, OH. So, while I enjoyed the extra scope of the movie, the directing was meh. I agree about Suddenly. Dumb. The best performance of the music was an anniversary performance at the Royal theatre in London, with ValJeans from all over the world singing at the end. Lea Salonga was Eponine. So it is worth seeing, and my daughter and SIL who hadn't seen the play, really liked it. I was pleasantly surprised by Anne Hathaway. Crowe and Jackman made me cringe at times. The children were excellent. ETA: hermetically sealed, we saw it the same way. I got interrupted while typing. Didn't mean to repeat. Claustrophobic was a good descriptor.

As long as Taylor Swift is not breaking any homes, she is all right in my book! I mean, not dating married men.
so far, I have not read from you any messy breakups. She has not met somebody she could not live without.
Adam and Sauli really clicked ... and they were continents apart, they could not have met but it was fate.
As for Bali, it would be around 8AM ? Breakfasting or still in bed or an early swim. Swimming early is gorgeous!

See for me, going into the movie , all I had to compare was the 10th Anniversary Dream Cast. Hard for anyone to live up to that.
