I am feeling a little guilty for twittering that the governor of Florida was an abomination, and I was not going to vote for him in 2014. I suppose that is kind of bullying. Although other people have said worse things about him. However, I can't get over what he has done to Florida. How can I get my agression towards him out of me and placed somewhere else? It is so hard to be kind and quiet all the time. This twitter did not set a good example for young people. What a dilemma (sp.). I am too old to think about this anymore.

As a governor he is an abomination. I hope people remember in 2014 otherwise we're in for a rough ride.

Rick Scott will not be reelected. No need to waste anger and angst on him.
Now let's leave the political situation of Florida for a non-ATop discussion. Thanks!![/color]

I email our so-called "Governor" Scott and give him lots of good advice. Always get a dumb unrelated form letter in response, but it sure makes me feel better to get it out. And I do believe he is actually given the gist of the mail to his office, at least. Hell - if he is going to destroy FL. I feel it my duty to tell him what I think about it. ;D ETA- Sorry Q3 - guess I was posting the same time you were. Q3: You're forgiven. I understand how he can make people a bit crazy. But this forum is not intended for political discussions that do not involve Adam.

Not only are people good at bullying, but they are also quick to judge and get angry before letting someone finish what they are saying - as evidenced here tonight on this site. I may not have been bullied like some have here but I have lost a sister because of this very thing that has gone on here tonight. We need to be better listeners and take the time to understand what people are saying before attacking them. Just saying. : No one attacked anyone in here. JS. But a lot of folks on Twitter were critical of Adam. Unfortunately that is one of the problems with Twitter, in my opinion -- folks react very quickly and emotionally instead of taking a few moments to stop and process what is being posted. I saw a number of comments from people thinking that Adam was not being hard enough on bullying or not understanding how bad bullying can be. I was surprised by that. Adam may not have been subjected to serious bullying when growing up, but I'm sure that he knows plenty of people who have experienced it first-hand, like his ex Brad Bell. Hard to imagine anyone like Adam (especially being a gay man) not being aware of how bad bullying can be, or taking bullying lightly. I just wish folks would not react so strongly in the moment, especially fans. My mom used to counsel counting to ten before responding -- it seems like a lot of Tweeters could benefit from the same advice. If we don't spend a little time really listening and trying to understand each other, how can we hope to come to any common ground?

If we don't spend a little time to understand each other, we can accidentally bully each other.
