Maddie, the first time I went was Adam's year. You just had, to make a request. If they had room, you got a ticket. That year they sold out. Since then, they send me an invitation by e-mail. Last 2 years have not sold out It is a small gathering. Maybe 200 people. What's this all about????

If anyone thought P2 was going to have an easy time of it because his first single sold 3 million, think again! His first day of adds for single #2 and he got 5 HAC and 1 Top 40! :-/ Heard he got 22 adds. I didn't doubt he would. I think he's the luckiest man in music today. Limited range, a great song the he didn't initially support but got played everywhere including the olympics. Hope Adam will finally get some luck when it comes to singles on his next album. Or at least stay away from Dr. Luke and Claude Kelly on the first singles.

Last 2 years have not sold out It is a small gathering. Maybe 200 people. Thanks for the info, Pat. If they get Adam on that panel again, I'm there! Seriously, I'd love to go to this event some day, listening to the industry folks/players talk biz from their perspectives... #rare_opportunity# Oh, I assumed you watched the Grammys, too. I think it was the best music awards show in a long time! Aside from most of the stellar performances and voices, what really intrigued and excited me was the Return of JT! which had been orchestrated beautifully from the Ellen/Beyonce introduction (as a music royalty), the Jay-Z collab performance, later on more airtime on the stage with Ryan Seacrest and Neil Portnow, CEO/President of the Recording Academy, to the Bud Light Platinum commercial (apparently, JT is the creative director for Bud Light Platinum) and the ads for Target pre-order! In other words, the Grammys served a perfect stage for the superstar's return to music and now, the buzz just keeps buzzing with each tease of his new songs. I must say I like "Mirrors" a lot better than "Suit & Tie", probably 'cuz it reminds me a bit of "Cry Me A River"...

Super YAY.. thanks for all the great information Maddie.. need some smilies ,so upset about Adam not being nominated for a 'Trespassing' Grammy . you made my day Oh, mellie, don't be upset about the Grammy nom, 2012 was just not his year, besides there're so many great musicians&groups that never won a single grammy, Led Zeppelin and Queen are 2 prime examples. There are awards staples like Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood who practically win something every year, then, the always bridesmaids like Katy Perry, who has had 9 grammy noms in her career yet zero win. I'm glad the Amazon China numbers cheered you up but I'm afraid Adam is no longer at #1. The day after the CCTV's New Year Gala, the Chinese social media had been all about Li Yundi and all his CDs are in the top 50 of amazon bestsellers. As of right now, he's got 14 of his CDs in the top 20, taking #1 spot and the rest of top 11, Trespassing is currently at #12, which is still a very good position, considering the circumstance. FYE is #39 and GNL #56, also TSP is #2 on 京东's weekly bestsellers.

Looks like 13 of P2's total 22 adds were coming from Alternative/Rock/AAA formats, according to Pulse: pulsemusic.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=alternative&action=display&thread=118796&page=4Yes, he is the luckiest idol, evah! A seemingly nice guy with modest talent, but I'm really sick of that song (Home) of his, it's everywhere! LOL

Add in the AAA and he has a total of 30. Oops. one of those is a Top 40 in Appleton, Wisconsin. Interestingly, that is the same Top 40 station that started spinning Home first in Top 40 & they spun the crap out of it. Like 100+ spins to start. I actually like Gone, Gone, Gone. I think it is way more Top 40 friendly than Home was. Neither of his singles have ben one of the many he has written.
