Adam does seem rather calm about the whole situation, so either the announcement has to wait for idol or for some other reason is delayed, or he is not too worried about not having a label right away. I don't get the impression that he is worried at all. Is he calm? I hope that. I will speaking out of both " sides of my mouth now". I am not sure he would display anything other than calmness for his fan base, and the media, even ...if...as per the duck who looks calm moving on the water...his feet are peddling fast under the water. Peddling towards other options!?!?! I cannot worry though, what will be will be, re a label. I would think the break-up would have been very stressful....making the decision, negotiating the break- up contractual issues....sheesh ...need a law degree, well a great lawyer. We will never know the break-up details. A brave face/front can belie what is in the heart and head. The line in the poem re no royalties ( if we take mashed potatoes seriously) ...would be a bite to swallow. No instagram showing a champagne celebration, as per when he left 19 ??(sorry cannot remember). I do not know where his head and heart are....I just hope decisions come sooner versus later, just to focus on his other amazing new projects, and opportunities.

♊♛ Rabia ♛♊ xxinnirvanastay AI season 13: five judges who can save it from cancelation - Stabley Times | www.stableytimes.com/news/american-idol-season-13-five-judges-who-can-save-it-from-cancelation/7481/ … via @stableytimes / @adamlambert” American Idol season 13: five judges who can save it from cancelationPosted by Mike Valdez on Jul 22, 2013 American Idol is down for the count heading into season 13, with three fourths of its judges having quit the show in the offseason and nearly as many viewers having quit as a hostile season 12 dragged on. The show is now trying to restock its judging roster with the kind of talent coaches who will bring viewers back or at least allow it to keep the audience it has left. Names are flying around left and right, including those of a number of former contestants. Here are five new judges who can save American Idol from cancelation in season 13. Jennifer Hudson: She’s already all but signed on to be a judge in season thirteen, and she brings likability to Idol that was missing when Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj were taking nonstop pot shots at her. The mainstream knows and likes her. But after finishing seventh on the show ten years ago, will American Idol audiences even remember having seen her competing on the show? Adam Lambert: When he lost in season eight, a large chunk of the longtime American Idol audience left with him. His fans are fervent, and his addition to the show as a judge would boost ratings. But he’s already splitting his time between his solo career and fronting for Queen, leaving his availability in question. Kelly Clarkson: The original American Idol winner coming home to take over the show at the height of her pop career would make a great season thirteen storyline, but it’s not clear why she’d want the gig; she doesn’t need it. Harry Connick Jr: Someone has to play Mr. Nice Guy on the Idol judging panel, and if Keith Urban follow his fellow judges out the door as expected, Connick could fill this role. He’s been popular as a contestant mentor over the last several seasons. Simon Cowell: If X-Factor ratings tank again this fall, it could face cancelation by year’s end. That would free up Simon Cowell to return to American Idol in season 13, if he wants the gig.

According to the Agent vs Manager article Heathcliff posted, management negotiates with the label for recording artists. This seems to be an exception from their usual role as big picture guider and more like the get the gig work agents do. I am glad because I have a good impression of DMG, probably because KP has done so well.

Maybe a little topic, but One Direction released the video today for their new single, "Best Song Ever". From what I've read on twitter, the boys dress up like the Village People, and then Zayn Malik (who I always read on twitter looks a lot like Adam) explores his feminine side by appearing in drag.
The video is sure to get a lot of attention. Now if Adam, like Freddie before him, appeared in drag, it would be banned for sure. But "straight" guys are "free to be me".

There are two separate contests --- iHeartRadio -- this is a twitter contest. Radio Station Promos -- this is the text contests. ETA: Yes, post the clues in the clue thread it would be great. Then we will have them all together. ETA #2: Regarding Adam not doing news that wasn't his to tell -- he did a clue for Glee and that was Ryan's news to tell. The text contests are only through radio stations that are part of the iheartradio group - and there are links to the radio stations on the iheartradio web page. I believe the twitter contest was only offered on Saturday until 4 pm est and is over, unless they do another one. Does anyone know? I believe an Adam fan won this on Saturdareay as per twitter as I recall. The radio stations are part of Clear Channel and iHeartRadio is part of Clear Channel. They have multiple business units: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clear_Channel_Communications iHeartRadio operates an internet platform, creates content and aggregates content from CC 850+ stations plus Cumulas, Cox and other radio networks. www.iheart.com/ The first iHR Twitter contest winner was apparently an Adam fan: iHeartRadio @iheartradio 20 Jul Congrats to our #iHeartRadio Music Festival Twitter winner: Maria W (@adamarie915) who has won a trip & tix to both nights of the show! Last year they had iHR had multiple contests. The concert is 2 months away. I expect they will have more iHR contests.

I agree with you, Heathcliff. It frustrates me, makes me mad, and I'm totally disgusted with the inequality of it!

I am optimistic about the future. **** New thread is up.
