Adam's first week sales of Trespassing here were around 7,300 IIRC, putting it on par with his U.S. sales of 78,000. (U.S. population being approx. 10 times that of Canada)

So Scotty's sales in Canada of 1,788, don't come close to being on par with his U.S. sales ….which pretty much confirms a discussion we had a number of months ago concerning some of his fans claims that his international sales were likely on par with Adam's.

Can't answer the question about follower count but it may be because his recent focus has been on his digital network and not on adding Twitter followers. (Instagram, Weibo, etc.)

Adam is a global power on Twitter. In fact, using most ranking systems his account is one of the 100 most important accounts on Twitter. This is a bit mangled because I do not have time to format it -- but is if you look at IMPACT, he is #76 IN THE WORLD. This is based on link power, not just bot followers and dead account and etc.

Having a lot of Twitter followers means nothing if they are not engaged. And what is most important is WHO FOLLOWS AND ACCOUNT.

I have no idea what kind of promo Scotty was getting for his new album, whatever it was, apparently missed the mark by a mile. Frankly, what & how Scotty is doing is completely irrelevant to Adam; Kelly, Jordin and Daughtry are, imo, the only idols that are in the same category as Adam, competing for the similar audience and still very much engaged in the music & pop scene.
