I just won an argument with my opera singer Dad who didn't believe that it was a top D that Adam sings in WWTLF which is 3 notes higher than the glory note in the famous operatic aria Nessun Dorma!!! Had to play him Pavarotti singing that note (which is a B ) and then straight after Adam singing the same note just before he goes up to the D! He said that the highest note he's ever heard a tenor sing in full voice is an E flat. Then I told him he regularly sings much higher than that...and showed him the YouTube video of his range. His response was "that's just freakish" Ummm yeah Dad I KNOW!!!!! Lol Love this story. Thank you.

His response was "that's just freakish" Ummm yeah Dad I KNOW!!!!! Lol I think I mentioned earlier that that huge glory note is impressive, but, in actuality, during CLTCL, he hits the same D5 multiple times at the end of the song. As part of the musical line or riff. Casually tossing them off as if they were nothing. Look at his face, his posture, and you would have no idea he was singing a stratospheric note very few tenors are capable of singing in full voice. Then, Adam hits a beautiful, ringing, full voice F above that D in WATC during a spectacular run at the end of "of the WORRRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLDDD", (after the first verse, I think). That's where it gets "freakish" as your Dad so aptly put it. Very, very, very few tenors can sing that note like that.... or at all. In fact, girls, try to sing along with Adam on that riff. I bet most of y'all can't hit that high F. This is why I want someday Adam does a duet with an Opera/Classical singer.. and no offense but I'm not talking about Josh Groban I'm talking about singers like these ladies hubpages.com/hub/The-Best-Opera-Singers-of-Todayor from this list mostlyopera.blogspot.com/2012/06/top-10-opera-singers-of-today.htmlI think Adam will like the challenge to perform with one of them

Just watched the WWTLF vid - twice. And shallow person that I am, replayed the last part twice more to hear the high note, the quiet ending, and watch that glorious theatrical turn and swagger off stage. I love his walk. Gaahhh

Somewhat OTT but I just watched the HBO documentary "Valentine Road" If you did not watch it tonight, I am sure HBO will run it again and/or it will be available On Demand. It treated the killing of a young gay boy by a 14 year old with such evenness and ambivalent POV that it is quite difficult to watch at times. My only 'wonder' is that at no time is the fact that a 14 year old could lay their hand on a handgun and sit in class with it in his hoodie pocket even commented on....incredible... "VALENTINE ROAD explores the murder of a teenager who had begun exploring his gender identity, revealing the circumstances that led to the shocking crime, as well as its complicated aftermath. Directed and produced by first-time filmmaker Marta Cunningham and shepherded by award-winning producers Sasha Alpert (HBO’s “Autism: The Musical”) and Eddie Schmidt (HBO’s “Twist of Faith”), the film raises issues about the safety of LGBT teens, juvenile justice and the ability of the country’s educational and social service systems to prevent such tragedies. VALENTINE ROAD debuts MONDAY, OCT. 7 (9:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO, during National Bullying Prevention Month." I have spent countless hours collecting information for the Adam archives and would like to be given credit. The fan base (and all other bases) do this all the time, we remove copyrights, combine images, use anywhere we like. Drives artists crazy. If it's an image that you own then I think the only thing you can do is sign the image itself (I like 4M 'cause it's short and it's what I call you in my head ) and hope people don't alter it, then some people at least would know that it's yours because not many will provide the link plus the pic, it takes up too many twitter characters. btw, I love your archives. It's great to have the history, both on screen and for those of us with mind sieves I'm glad you can find everything at your mind's fingertips when we have a question.

UH, I found this in a web search. I didn't know that was considered plagiarism, to find images and post them, even if I don't know the origin. Sorry I wasn't able to credit the image. I thought it was worth sharing on my blog, so I did. I see my edits and gifs, without credit, all over twitter and realize it's the nature of the web. If I got upset every time I saw that, I would not be a happy camper. Creating gifs is really time consuming but I'd rather people share them than worry about receiving credit for them. I put lilybop in the titles so I can see how they spread on Twitter. It's pretty amazing. I didn't take credit for creating that Velvet Underground image but I did choose to share it. I'm glad I did. I also didn't make the Velvet Underground GIF I posted, but I love it so I shared it despite not knowing the origin. I guess that's "plagiarism" too. My bad.
