I just won an argument with my opera singer Dad who didn't believe that it was a top D that Adam sings in WWTLF which is 3 notes higher than the glory note in the famous operatic aria Nessun Dorma!!! Had to play him Pavarotti singing that note (which is a B ) and then straight after Adam singing the same note just before he goes up to the D! He said that the highest note he's ever heard a tenor sing in full voice is an E flat. Then I told him he regularly sings much higher than that...and showed him the YouTube video of his range. His response was "that's just freakish" Ummm yeah Dad I KNOW!!!!! Lol Yeah, that is kind of freakish!! Great story.

Q3, you're allowed to post adult content fic on LJ if you label it as such so there's a warning for readers. I never saw any directives from them re gay content, specifically. I posted a slash fic there with a warning, just like the kind on Archive Of Our Own. Yet LJ sent her an email saying her gay content is under investigation and she lost access. 'Russian owned' has ramifications, it seems.

Now I get it. *** The company that owns LJ is Russian but they have really been critical of the Russian government so I think it is a leap to think that is why she got the warning. Just a thought. I hope SUP Media has not given in to the homophobic mania.

I hope it's not a harbinger. Must have been pretty upsetting for her.

I hope it's not a harbinger. Must have been pretty upsetting for her. Me too. I will be optimistic. Politics is one thing -- money from offshore operations (outside of Russia) is quite another. My take of the Russian situation is that money HeWhoCannot ameds everything.

Lol I think I mentioned earlier that that huge glory note is impressive, but, in actuality, during CLTCL, he hits the same D5 multiple times at the end of the song. As part of the musical line or riff. Casually tossing them off as if they were nothing. Look at his face, his posture, and you would have no idea he was singing a stratospheric note very few tenors are capable of singing in full voice. Then, Adam hits a beautiful, ringing, full voice F above that D in WATC during a spectacular run at the end of "of the WORRRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLDDD", (after the first verse, I think). That's where it gets "freakish" as your Dad so aptly put it. Very, very, very few tenors can sing that note like that.... or at all. In fact, girls, try to sing along with Adam on that riff. I bet most of y'all can't hit that high F.

His power and control in Vegas was EPIC and there was only one moment where he wasted vocal energy on unneeded high notes 00 JMHO. The universe made just one.
