The issue isn't power. It's about money -- generally speaking, you can get the best if you are willing to pay for them. We have no idea what Adam's budget is, but I'm guessing it's smaller than Kelly's. Also, Brian London is no slouch -- he has worked with Rihannna, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry, so I imagine he has connections. But there are other considerations in selecting band members. It's also about what Adam is looking for and values in band members. In addition to talent, Adam also seems to value finding band mates with an approach to music similar to his (which makes sense); he also values personality -- the person's attitude, are they easy to get along with, etc. -- and their "look". These were things Adam mentioned when he was putting together the band for the Glam Nation tour. I also imagine that Adam values loyalty -- he appears to be a very loyal person and values those who are loyal to him. So unless something radical happens or one of his current band members chooses to move on, I expect we will be seeing them for a while. In the end, It's the fans loyalty that matters the most.. their loyalty makes and keeps one's career.Adam can't carry the whole show by himself,he needs great backup ,not just loyal friends who happen to be musicians.. OK I've had my rant..moving on very quickly again I agree. I was just responding to glitter and explaining what went into the choice of band members. In a perfect world, I would probably replace Tommy -- I think Adam needs a stronger lead guitarist. Maybe move him to rhythm guitar. I would also get 2 great back-up singers. I know others may disagree, but I dislike Adam's reliance on backing vocal tracks. I've been to many concerts, and great back-up singers that complement the lead singer's voice make the sound much richer. In Adam's case, we've heard him with Chic and also the members of Queen singing back-up, and I think both experiences demonstrate what good back-up can sound like. I know Adam likes to have dancers onstage, but I would choose musicianship and back-up singers over dancers. Hopefully he will do that the next time he tours. YMMV.

But that is the equation for a STRAIGHT line and I see a very curvy ass!!! Here you go -- y = a1x^2 +a3x + 1.34 I estimated the constants -- I would need to measure for the actual values.

I agree about both the back-up singers and the guitarist. He needs a big album so he can get funding for a real band and dancers and singers. They Adam and fans will be happy.

S*&@^#r and Q3 Kind of trivial on my part...and .....Hate to get too defensive here.....but....here I go..... I said ....Where is MY Energy...not Adam's. He was certainly on the move and grooving ( very adeptly...haha). Like I said...my feelings may have been different re the quality ....if I had been there (ie. part of the action). (I have appreciated learning there were some detected issues.) I was agreeing with seoulmate! Some new songs may have " breathed some life" into the concert for ME, knowing it was not a choreographed tour concert....Adam could have done whatever he pleased. ...I would have gone cross-eyed watching and re-watching a new track, whether the sound quality was good or bad!

I don't know - I feel a little bit guilty, when I'm saying something not so nice about Adam's band members. A little bit like betraying him, because the band members are HIS choice and he seems to be very fond of them. BUT - and this is a BIG but - I wish from the bottom of my heart, that Adam would have better musicians as his band. I've been to so many concerts in my life that I can't remember all of them (I am a little bit crazy when it comes to music ) and the best concerts are those, when there is a unity on stage. It doesn't matter if there is a solo artist on stage with a backing band or a complete band - they all have to be on the same level. For example Elton John's or Bruno Mars' band would be still outstanding without Elton or Bruno on Stage - and Adam's band - not

Iridium I agree with you and I would love to have some really good backup singers instead of the backing tracks. I would move Tommy to rhythmic guitar as others here have mentioned and get a really good lead guitarist. I'd keep Ashely who definitely has the 'look' Adam likes and can play base. I'd probably keep Brian as musical director though I really liked the first guy Adam had (I think his name was Josh....remember how he added so much to Fantasy Springs WLL?)! And Rick is just there....not a lot of energy there for me. Anyway, that's just my two cents. lol I thought the energy level at the Miami concert was enormous....I bet almost palatable if you were there.
