Ya, I know. I was just thinking that a #1 on the 3rd 2nd week isn't that big a deal. But maybe Garth thinks differently! 

I agree, nica! Which is why I am expecting a more eclectic album, like FYE was. 

Was just about to bring the Carnie Wilson tweet over, but Q3 was faster. It's not a verified account, but I think that is really her, and obviously, the rumor is about Adam singing their song, so I think this is really her.

About Glee:
I think, they knew that the ratings would be low for these three isolated shows - away from the Cory related shows - in the middle of November on Thursday nights (one of them Thanksgiving).

Adam probably did not bring them any better numbers, but it did bring them press, and quite frankly opportunities for a story line. As a casual watcher, who is only observing Glee now, because of Adam, I have to say, that this is the weakest part of the show, imo. They seem to have run out of material. People complain about Lima, but I have to say, I don't see all that much interesting material for the NY crew either (outside the Adam/Demi topics).

Really, is it that hard to come up with an interesting storyline for 4 people who live in NY and are trying to break into the music performing arts biz. Really? I find the writers quick and witty in their style, but sorrowfully lacking substance.

Adam's presence gives them something new to work with and clearly the Glee audience is loving it. So, perhaps Adam helps keeping the existing viewers around for the remaining season.
And, I agree, of course, that the switch to Tuesday 8 pm is going to help quite a bit going forward.
