Thank you Adam for this wonderful pic from M&G in Warsaw - one of the best TOHT concerts ever!

Sorry but this is not the first time. I like Katy but her performance of Firework on UK X Factor last year was excruciating....worse than yesterday. And yet her X factor performance of The One That Got AWay was lovely. It just shows that singers have their limitations...... except Adam who sings everything perfectly. I think he makes it look too easy...people don't realise the skill and natural talent involved in getting it right in a way that seems so effortless. And this is one of the reasons I'm Adam fan and appreciate his voice. It's (the voice) trully one in a billion!

I'm pretty confident my assessment of most Adam fans not liking pop music is point on. I also have been to several Adam's concert. NYC being one of them, the most diverse city in the country. Eh, I'll respectfully disagree with you on that one. While there are obviously a good number of Adam fans who sort of "put up" with the pop because they really would enjoy rock or classical more if they had their druthers, my personal experience is that the majority of Adam fans truly enjoy pop. [grins] And speaking for myself, I listen to the radio going to/from work, and Top 40 is the vast majority of my listening time. The Adam fandom is indeed quite diverse. I do think there are more than a good number that put up with pop music. My experience is that most don't enjoy it. JMO. I do think that most fans have a broad taste in music across genres but that wasn't the discussion. The discussion was about pop music and the genre itself.

Liking other genres doesn't mean you are "putting up with pop music" my brain, appreciation and taste are perfectly capable of simultaneous enjoyment and liking of more than one thing at a time and doubt I am alone on that front...

And then there are some of us who have branched way out of our usual comfort zone - I like Macklemore! Bought rap songs (I know, not the usual rap songs, but still.......). Pop music, if it is well done, is great. Pop music done poorly (and admit it people, there is a lot out there that is not very good) is ........... crap. I like iTunes because I can pick and choose - don't have to get the whole album (cough, cough Beyonce) for the song(s) I like.

I listened to the Katy song and I don't get the hate she was getting in the comments. I heard one bum note, everything else was strained perhaps but not by any stretch in my mind was it a disaster. I do worry about her voice a bit though because I always see her straining. At least in this one I could hear her so she didn't have to push as hard to be heard as at some awards show. Her concerts look like lots of fun. Hi Jablea, I'm glad you didn't think the performance was a disaster. It's quite possible that your ears do not hear the out-of-tuneness. I'm not trying to be snide or condescending. Some people just don't hear it. The good thing is that you enjoyed the performance. The second half of the song got a bit better, but the first half was very out of tune.

All I am expecting is the full interview which will include his "string of shows" quote. IDK, why some are expecting more? Planet Rock is supposed to have the geography and timeframe. Geography might be US, Canada (Roger confirmed Canada) and maybe Japan. But aside from hints, we have no confirmation on anything except Canada. CANADA!!!!!

Guess you haven't seen Zoolander. Obviously, there ISN'T a correlation between model faces and low IQ but Ben Stiller has done a real number on those poses. No overthinking required:

Adam has a great sense of humor .. maybe ,just maybe, he's doing a Zoolander. Think of how often he is photographed.. First the mouth agape ,now this.. Just may be funny Adam.. whatever I LOVE him any way I can get him.. Oh, me too! Just I can see why Skylar considers it beneath Adam. Can't help but think of what Demi Lovato said about being on Glee and having body issues. Being photographed a lot makes you sensitive. No one can look good all the time. It makes you self-conscious. Love his pics anyway. Wish he could see himself the way we see him.

OT but I'm so excited I needed to share my story. My brother (who I go round and round with about Adam...but he does admit Adam has a good voice) came into town (he lives in Florida) and over dinner I told him that Queen was getting ready to announce that they will be doing some performances again with Adam and if they come to the US I am going! My brother says if they perform anywhere in Florida come down and I'll go to the concert with you!! I was so surprised....he said get good seats and we'll all go!! I can't believe he'll actually go...I am so ready!! Now I have to keep my fingers crossed that Adam/Queen will do a concert in Florida! Well...if they do any in the Mid-West I'll go again!! OH! Yeah!! That's wonderful! And not off-topic at all. Another possible Glambert in the world is news to be shouted from the rooftops! (And come on--we know your brother will be completely won over when he sees Adam live! It's a foregone conclusion!)
