For those of us that want to meet up with other Atoppers, I think the green ribbon idea is easy. We know a lot of us will be there and it will be fun for some of us to make a connection if we are so inclined. It's a better idea then, let's say, glitter, pulsating lit, metallic sun glasses (sarcasm).

I'm not sure if it's tribal or not, but those wristbands during GNT allowed me to meet many wonderful people from this forum--people with whom I still share rides, rooms, meals, etc.
Some folks will be newbies at these concerts, and I want to give them a chance to connect.
Obviously, this is totally voluntary.
It is helpful to me to be able to see at a glance if someone is from the board, especially if they look familiar and I can't remember their "real life" name.
So, 1/2 inch to 1 inch wide DAY-GLO green one loop lapel ribbons it is for those who choose to participate, which I hope many will.
Looking forward to seeing ATOP "friends" and meet new toppers this summer.

So, DAY-GLO green ribbons it is for those who choose to participate, which I hope many will. Looking forward to seeing ATOP "friends" and meet new toppers this summer. Before my first (and so far only) Adam concert, I was nervous and apprehensive. Going to a concert alone, and a rock concert where I was sure I would stand out as being an old lady, folks on ATop had to encourage, nudge, and nurture me into going. Then, they said they were meeting for dinner before the show, and I should join them. Dinner with a bunch of strangers? So not in my comfort zone. But, Mayumi can be persistent. I ended up at her house for a pre-Adam party, then car-pooling to the dinner and concert. Wonderful ATopians gave me several wristbands which felt very special and welcoming. I made wonderful friends, had an incredible experience, and changed my outlook on trying new things on my own. For newbies this time around, I want them to feel the same warm welcome and encouragement I felt. So, count me in on DAY_GLO green ribbons.

Meeting is fun! I met so many fun people during the Glam Nation tour and there are many more that I just missed by a hair, or saw and never quite made it over to, or missed entirely because I was in the wrong room, or city, or bar, or hotel room. Any time you can match an avatar to a real person and connect, if only for a few moments, it enriches the whole fandom experience, IMO.
There is so much love and goodwill surrounding Adam that it really does permeate his fan base- for me saying hi to anyone I have berted with online is a very good thing.
