LOL..... I just realized I hadn't caught up with the end of Sundays thread until a few minutes ago...... and I really hate to ruin the fantasy stuff concerning the lariat chain Adam wore at iHeart, but if you watch the video you can clearly see the end of the chain as it swings out from his shirt many times. The first time is at just a few seconds past the 4 minute mark in this vid....... EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. someone posts this video for whatever reason, I have to watch the whole damn thing again. Tonight when I was watching yet again, right at 10:58 (after Adam sings WWTLF and he's walking off the stage), Roger stands up and extends his arm toward Adam... awwwwwwwwwwww

The other tabloid joins in... and quotes tweets, lol. In Finland, that is. www.iltasanomat.fi/viihde/art-1288669573311.html?pos=ksk-trm-vhde-ostuSauli and Adam's fans rejoice over their vacation together - Reflection in Adam's glasses was SauliPhoto, caption: Sauli and Adam photographed in December 2012, when all was still well. Former lovers Sauli Koskinen and Adam Lambert were both in Stockholm during the weekend. Both men posed at the exact same place in Stockholm and posted the pics. See Adam's version here and Sauli's version here! (links to resp. IGs) Iltalehti was the first to tell about the pictures. Adam and Sauli's fans rejoiced over the joint vacation and are eagerly awaiting for them to get back together. "There's a reflection of Sauli in Adam's sunglasses" Adam Lambert Help proclaimed to others. "Adam is in Sweden, Sauli is in Sweden. Only one problem: I'm not in Sweden" Laufeyson lamented. "If it's true that Adam and Sauli were seen cuddling at a night club I want to see pics of them together" Glambert commented. Sauli and Adam broke up a year ago. Fans have hoped for their reunion since the break-up news broke. Sauli has told that they remain friends with Adam.

I'm sure it was tough work doing that research. 8-)

Entertainment news website, Finland. In the headline 'IL' (Iltalehti) refers to the tabloid that first reported this, the daily newspaper 'HBL' (Hufvudstadsbladet) that wrote about cuddling at a night club is also mentioned in the text. Pics are old. www.stara.fi/2014/03/25/il-sauli-koskinen-ja-adam-lambert-palanneet-yhteen/(photo) IL: Finnish celebrity and world star together again?
Some time ago the Finns had an opportunity to follow the adventures of a Finnish Big Brother winner amongst the biggest stars in the entertainment world in Hollywood by watching paparazzi photos from Hollywood. That came to be via the relationship that started on the superstar's gig in Finland. (photo) BB winner Sauli Koskinen and pop star Adam Lambert's relationship was a bit tumultuous even when they got acquainted with the police quarters in Finland. Later on they separated but before that Sauli was at home in the celebrity circles in Hollywood. Now 'Iltalehti' reports on quite interesting pictures on Instagram accounts of the men. In the snapshots posted on saturday both Sauli and Adam are seen in the same time and in the same place - in Stockholm. 'Hufvudstadsbladet' tells that the celebrity couple was spotted together in Stockholm earlier, too. Of course, at this point there's no knowledge yet if the relationship is rekindling or if they are just friends. (IG pics)

A Swedish tabloid (Metro.se) about Adam’s visit in Stockholm: Adam Lambert’s new Swedish project The American pop star and former "American-Idol" finalist Adam Lambert visits Sweden for his new album. According to Billboard.com Adam Lambert has been in Sweden to work with the Swedish super-producer Max Martin, who previously worked with artists such as Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber, and who also wrote songs for Adam Lambert's debut album "For your entertainment", in 2009. When the album, Lamberts third, to be completed is unclear, but according to the Swedish singer / songwriter Tove Lo who shared studio time with Lambert during his Sweden stay so we can have high expectations.
- When you hear the ready-made stuff from the studio is one thing, but his voice is incredible. I could not believe it, she tells Billboard. www.metro.se/noje/adam-lamberts-nya-svenskprojekt/EVHncu!B9KUSi44t71o/

I found this interesting little article at psmag.com yesterday while strolling through the internet; how Sweden became the pop music mecca. No Adam mention but it certainly supports Adam's choice to go to Stockholm. Swedish Pop Mafia

Entertainment news website, Finland. New site to me, l've probably thought it's one of those sites that collect links. They seem to recycle articles from other media sites but did re-write the story, with a spin of course, their source being 'Iltalehti' (IL). www.ajanhukkaa.com/2014/03/sauli-ja-adam-lambert-bongattu-tukholmassa/Sauli and Adam Lambert spotted in Stockholm(photo) Despite their separation a while ago, Sauli Koskinen and Adam Lambert seem to enjoy each other's company still. The men were spotted together on a love vacation in Stockholm last weekend. Sauli and Adam didn't themselves reveal their joint trip but clever fans recognized Sauli's reflection on Adam Lambert's sunglasses. Both Sauli and Adam had told in the internet that they were in Stockholm and both took a similar posed pic in the centre of Stockholm. Fans of the former couple are excited about it and many of them are speculating about a reunion of the lovebirds. According to the wildest rumours Sauli and Adam were spotted cuddling at a night club. Sauli has informed the media that Adam is still a close friend to him but the latest news point to them swaying to the romantic side. Is Sauli getting his prince back?

Seiska magazine doesn't run the rumours, no Adam mention either, but writes a few words on Sauli's skating videos instead giving links and saying that "BB star, host Sauli Koskinen has not forgotten his skating skills". They are usually quick with gossip but refraining perhaps because Sauli is doing video/pic blogs for them and they had exclusive stories of Sauli's Best Friend tv-show (which btw is not renewed). www.seiska.fi/Viihdeuutiset/Wau-mitka-moovit-Sauli-Koskinen/1037689 (direct link to Sauli's IG instagram.com/saulikoskinen )

Talon's Take:
Stone Cold Crazy
Written by: Freddie Mercury/Brian May/Roger Taylor/John Deacon
Musicians: Freddie Mercury - lead and backing vocals Brian May - guitars John Deacon - bass guitar Roger Taylor - drums
- The first track to have the band write it. In this case it is a genuine four way writing credit, although it is Freddie who initiated it as the track has it's origins as a Wreckage track.
- Rumors claim that it was initially MUCH slower and maybe even incorporated acoustic guitars but these are hard to substantiate when even Barry Mitchell (one of the pre-John Deacon bassists) claims that they played it when he was in the band and that it was similar to what it ended up being.
- This supposedly was the first song Queen played together on stage as Queen back in 1970.
- Played live through 1977 and then resurrected for the 1984 tour. It was also performed at the Freddie Mercury Tribute with James Hetfield from Metallica on vocals and Tony Iommi (from Black Sabbath) assisting on guitar.
ALTERNATIVE RELEASED VERSIONS:
BBC SESSION 5 VERSION
- NOT essential listening
- Backing track is the same, there is a new vocal by Freddie but not really different.
1991 HOLLYWOOD REMIXES BY MICHAEL WAGENER
- NOT essential listening. The first is from the 1991 Hollywood Records remastering of Sheer Heart Attack as a bonus track. The second is a slightly different take of the same remix from the Encino Man soundtrack.
1991 REMIX BY TRENT REZNOR
- ESSENTIAL listening. Ok I don't make remixes essential usually but this was one of the best remixes of a Queen track ever. Trent Reznor (of Nine Inch Nails) remixed the track adding bits of studio chatter, and alternate takes of Freddie to make a REALLY rocking track of it. VERY well done. It was issued on some Hollywood Records promotional singles and compilations.
UNRELEASED AND UNHEARD
QUEEN AND/OR QUEEN IISESSION DEMO - If they were performing it as early as 1970 it makes sense that this was originally tried during sessions for the first two albums. There is no confirmation that these exist and in fact even if it was recorded the tapes may have been destroyed but the speculation is certainly fair.
OFFICIALLY RELEASED LIVE VERSIONS:
LIVE AT THE RAINBOW - 1974
- Officially a bonus iTunes video. This is a great perfomance. REALLY hard rocking and angry. Freddie at his most evil.
UNRELEASED LIVE VERSIONS:
LIVE AT EARLS COURT - 1977
- Another great gig and a bit older Freddie.
LIVE AT STUGGART - 1984 w/GREAT KING RAT
- BAD quality video...but the only actual video I could find. In 1984 they did a bit of a medley with the tune and with Great King Rat
ALTERNATIVE LIVE VERSIONS
QUEEN + JAMES HETFIELD & TONY IOMMI - THE FREDDIE MERCURY TRIBUTE
- It was only fitting since the year before Metallica won a Grammy for covering the track. It still amazes me that the band is so diverse they could have Metallica and Liza Minelli on the same bill :D
QUEEN + JEFF SCOTT SOTO - 2002
- Not great quality at all but when Queen got a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, they had an afterparty and did some jamming. Unfortunately not a lot of video escaped from the party...and even less good video. This is one of the better ones! This is with Jeff Scott Soto, a big Queen fan who sang with Journey for a bit and is now in the Queen Extravaganza alongside Marc Martel. This is not Jeff's best performance but it's not bad. Jeff did a GREAT Queen set at a Queen convention one year doing ALL the obscure stuff...Phenomenal...
If interested here it is!
