Talon thanks for the great post about "Stony Cold Crazy". I remain puzzled about how little credit Queen gets for this early seminal work from general music fans and from the Grammy voters which represent a very broad slice of the US/English language music industry.
***
I wonder how different the perception of Adam would be if he came to prominence on Idol as a musician/rock frontman who worked in musicals and doing session work to pay the bills? Instead he was positioned as "theatrical", liking costumes and make-up, etc. Setting aside all the issues with the scum bastards involved with Citizen Vein, I just was thinking about Adam and rock credibility.
***
Just one killer performance of "Stone Cold Crazy" with Queen reminding people that they are the originators of this entire genre, and with Adam ripping up the vocal universe would be all over the metal sites on the web within 30 minutes.
Just my own little dream.

Lorraine, I have ordered the ear plugs, and I am beside myself waiting for July 26. It is so exciting. I feel like I am seeing history and it will never happen again. Can't wait.

Just my own little dream. I too often wonder why it gets overlooked. There are some in the heavy metal/hard rock circle who always say Queen didn't rock hard enough. Pshaw. THey didn't all the time because they chose to be experimental. But they could rock with the best of them and sometimes did!

LOL, it was too god to be true, Seiska magazine had to write about this Stockholm mystery after all, too. The only one that has DOI winner as Sauli's title and no mention of BB. www.seiska.fi/Viihdeuutiset/Sauli-ja-Adam-Lambert-Tukholmassa-julkaisivat-mysteerikuvia/1037700(photo, Oscar party RC) Sauli and Adam Lambert in Stockholm - posted mystery pics!
Dancing On Ice winner Sauli Koskinen made a short trip to Stockholm last weekend. At the same time also Sauli's ex-mate was hanging around in the capital of our neighboring country. American pop singer Adam Lambert posted one vacation shot on his Instagram account to the delight of his fans. Adam was present probably due to recording business as he has been working on new material in Stockholm for some time. (Adam's IG pic) The most observant ones noticed that in the picture taken close to the Royal Palace also Sauli is to be found posing seeing his reflection in Adam's sunglasses. Both men updated their respective social media profiles while in Stockholm but avoided mentioning the company they kept. However, Sauli posted to his 'JulkkisLive' profile ( the vid/pic blog in the same magazine) a photo that has been taken in the exact same spot as Adam's. There are also recent group pics of Adam and Sauli starting to circulate on twitter, like this pic found from Adam Lambert's fan page. (pic with A+S+girls) Based on the information Seiska has the couple that separated last spring has left their differences behind and have remained close friends. (links to older stories and an embedded YT of the latest studio clip of Adam singing)
