If you are looking for a great venue to see Queen + Adam Lambert …. Consider Boardwalk Hall!4.24.14 by Q3 There is a gem on this upcoming QAL Tour that I think people may be missing. It was one of the 5 late additions to the tour and is in a somewhat inconvenient location – Atlantic City. This venue is worth a trip. Not only is the a very special, historic venue but Boardwalk Hall may be the venue with the best acoustics on the entire Queen + Adam Lambert Tour. Speaking of the Atlantic City QAL concert, I have 1 ticket for sell at cost: Floor 5, Row 7, $175.70. Also, I think theosgma may still have 1 on the same row for sale. I have one in Floor 4 Row 7 RIGHT on the aisle (Adam's side) Great for someone short who needs to step out a little for the view. Same price. |

Whoa, that was good, fun to hear and watch.
I also really liked the Lilly Allen mv Adam tweeted. The lyrics are interesting to me because instead of another love song or dance song, or empowerment song, etc. it is about where she really is, returning to "the business" after leaving it for awhile, having kids, living life. And I don't know many pop songs that have ever played off the idea of a woman's period to symbolize cycles of popularity, of trends, of life (or mentioned a period, period - ha,) - but it makes perfect sense. The whole song is so honest (as are her observations about some of her peers, too).
Then you add how unique the mv look is, what I THINK is the feminizing play on Kanye's "Yeezus," or however he spelled it (or not, and I'm wrong) and, well, I see why it appeals to Adam, who I think also likes to not just sing but say a little, too, honestly and originally.

Jolene & Wreaking Ball were my favorites that Miley did in the MTV Unplugged session. And I expect Aunt Dolly will be singing Jolene on tour in May. Looks like the show near you in Cherokee is sold out. But there are still tickets up in the 3rd level in Knoxville. Hmm Saw Adam in Knoxville Knoxville was my first Adam concert!!! Let me know if you want to go to the Dolly concert! |
