I suppose this isn't big news in light of all of the QUEEN hoopla, but the clip with Adam judging on RuPaul's Drag Race was featured on last night's finale. It was his one big moment on the show- interacting with April Carrion. Not too many clips with guest judges were shown so it was nice they chose Adam. I thought he might be in the audience, but I suppose he was busy with other things. It is amazing to see how Drag Race has grown and increased in stature since the first seasons! The finale was a bit of production. I was ecstatic with the winner. This season's show was one of the best! Glad Adam was a part of it and that he was in such fine company. I personally can not wait for all of this QUEEN business to be over. Happy that Adam can continue to do what he loves to do the most, perform, and make a decent living at it. I never wanted him to have to be the frontman for Queen, but it is what it is. I hope someday he can get back to being a successful solo artist and he can have his own tour that rivals what was listed in the thread yesterday. In the meantime all the fans of Queen can have a good time too! (and Adam gets to sing with stellar musicians!) I have a second cousin ish sort of relative who writes for RuPaul's Drag Race. (I hear a few stories when I see him every now and again.) Writers for non-scripted shows? You bet! He also writes for some other reality shows... I don't think Adam has to be the frontman for Queen. I think he chooses it because it pleases him on several levels. (You may not have literally meant that he "had to," but I wasn't sure from the way the comment was phrased.) Anyway, I think he will definitely keep his main, long term focus on his solo career. He may have different goals than we imagine, though, so we may be surprised from time to time. peace&love I don't think Adam is being coerced into this either. However, I never expected such a major commitment to be made to this "side project". I also wonder if things had gone differently in Adam's own career if this would have ever happened, at least to this degree. It is a great opportunity, financially and otherwise and Adam has the time. I have always felt that Adam will do whatever it takes to achieve a certain level of success and fame. I have heard it from those who know him and we fans have witnessed it. AFL has one heck of a work ethic and drive to go along with his talent. I am tickled that Meryl and Max won. I did not watch DTWS this season, but the video posted last night trapped me in a rabbit hole of youtube watching every one of their performances! Thanks nica575! btw on the subject of Gene Simmons. I read a little article about him recently. His mother was a Holocaust survivor. They relocated to the US from Israel when he was a young boy. He attended school with no English skills and was bullied relentlessly. I am no fan of KISS and never much cared for what I knew of this man, but there does seem to be a backstory..........and he may have a basis for some of his OPINIONS. |

Ok guys, I have a small beef. Y'all have given out the results to both The Voice and DWTS and it hasn't aired yet here in the west. Ruins all the suspense. I should be able to read an Adam thread without seeing spoilers about other shows. i would stay away from here but I have to build tomorrow's thread. SORRY! I should have used the Insert Spoiler feature. |

Congrats Q3...your guy, Josh won The Voice!  THANK YOU BAMAFAN BECAUSE I HATE SUSPENSE AND I HATE SECRETS AND I LOVE KNOWING EVERYTHING BEFORE IT HAPPENS!!!  (This is why I read the last page of every book first!!!) SO HAPPY JOSH (and Usher) WON!!!  |

If I am really vested I like to know who wins but if I'm just watching for entertainment I can usually wait. |

The Voice results are kind of exploding all over the web (like #1 worldwide trend) so it was hard to remember that the West Coast did not know. I will remember to post spoiler instructions for tomorrow's Idol results!
