Thanks, Noangel & rad!! Wow, #tsunamitweeting today. Where do I start? I will just say at certain times, I recall Adam's response to Mr. Sleazak upon being asked about Gene Simmons' comments re: Adam's acknowledgment of his orientation. Today's events brings that deadpan delivery to mind again. Happy Birthday, sweets!! I was thinking the same thing and even looked for a clip of just that. "Did you hear him sing?" Long pause. "He was great." (cue angelic smile) And Slezak practically lost it. Loved that. The boy is wicked smart. Thanks for the BD wishes! LOL. We were quoting each other at the same time. Yep... that Adam... nothing sinister or calculating about him but he will use kid gloves to make his point or start a discussion. "Sweetheart, this is not your seat. I love your earrings!" (cue endearing smile) |

I think that if some peeps are going to give benefit of the doubt to the DJ then they also should give benefit of the doubt to Adam and his supposed motivation IMHO : ??? :D For me, either way, made me pause & reflect. Perceptions can vary by degrees certainly. However, I don't think there's anything sinister even if this is close to the way it went down. Rather than looking to kick the ass of some obscure dj, I would assume IF this happened that Adam felt moved to comment on a national debate (some may be unaware but this J Crew issue has been in the news for last few days). By RT a common, off-hand sort of remark - whether snotty or benignly stereotypical - Adam gets to highlight social attitudes and comment, asking people to question some assumptions. The DJ yells he's getting fan-hammered so Adam says - 'hey good debate' and eases the tension. And it IS a much needed discussion. (Next = those fucking Babies R Us stores! Fight the real evil!) I'm confused. Isn't gold still 50,000 units? It's going to be months before it reaches that level. If the BluRay DVD is going to be available in the US, as it appears it will be (pre-order at Best Buy, out in May...) then many more units may be sold. I know I'll be buying it, and I don't even own a Blu-Ray, but will be buying one if I get this DVD!!!! 8-) 8-) Oh, good idea! This can be the unopened one for the Adam Shrine (aka spare bedroom) since I don't own a BluRay player either. Go gold, little dvd ! |
