I was reading this and looking at the comments  . Obviously someone stirred up a a sh!t-storm before removing their comment  Couldn't take it huh! Anyway, what I did see was this; Used to watch Adam live into the wee small hours live on idol. He just blew me away. Saw him in Glasgow O2 small venue in 2011 and that was magical. Sad not to see him in Newcastle as the accessible tickets are all gone and I would not want to go without my friend who is disabled, took him to Glasgow and he love him.

He's been offering this ticket for a while now. I hope they manage to work it out. I don't know if it was to this person, but he did manage to hook up with someone and re-home the tickets. Adam does write his own music. Difference is opposed to other pop stars. His label diddn't have the confidence in his writing abilities to release them as singles. All the big hits for Katy Perry were mostly her vision. Adams vision was not supported with RCA, tbh I felt he was stifled. Hopefully he is not on the next one.

Just to add my comment, I don't think anyone implied that Adam is not as much a musician or artist because he doesn't write all his songs. I know what I was saying earlier is that the songs chosen for him by RCA to release as singles were not amazing, sophisticated songs on par with the quality of his voice. Adam did the best he could with what he was given.

looks the same to me, just the model is wearing a black bra: Knowing Adam's willingness to adapt, it would not surprise me if he cut the sleeves right out...doubt he would wear it as modelled...jmo I think he cut the thumbs out of the gloves so he could use his phone - starts a new trend  |

Adam Lambert Still Has to Defend Himself: ‘I’m Not Replacing’ Freddie Mercury

When you replace a legend, comparisons happen. Fair or not, they’re inevitable. This is especially true when you’re replacing the irreplaceable, like Adam Lambert has done quite well as the guest frontman for Queen. Just don’t tell that to Freddie Mercury purists. Droves of dismissive fans of Queen’s ’70s peak look at Lambert as a blasphemous invasion of their musical tastes, as if honoring all the great music Freddie wrote by performing them once again is somehow a bad thing for Queen fans. Like their legacy would be tarnished by a former American Idol contestant “replacing” Freddie. But that’s the thing: Adam is not “replacing” Freddie Mercury. He said so himself in a new interview with Classic Rock Magazine: “There’s never going to be another [Freddie Mercury], and I’m not replacing him. That’s not what I’m doing. I’m trying to keep the memory alive, and remind people how amazing he was, without imitating him. I’m trying to share with the audience how much he inspired me.” I picture the interviewer following that up with “Yes, but why are you trying to replace Freddie Mercury?” Seriously, enough is enough. Brian May in the same interview added: “Adam is the first person we’ve encountered who can do all the Queen catalogue without blinking. He is a gift from god.” The comparisons really need to stop. Adam has proven capable of performing Queen songs live, as recently as New Year’s Eve, and doing them well. If you can let the whole Freddie Mercury comparison thing go, it’s still a good show for Queen fans. If you insist that Adam Lambert sucks and refuse to see them because of it, oh well. That’s your loss. More tickets for people who want to go see a good rock n’ roll show. I can’t force you to like Adam or go see the band, that’s up to you. Just stop it with the Freddie Mercury comparisons already, at this juncture it’s a pointless debate and we should let this dead horse rest in peace. Adam can’t replace Freddie…we get it. He knows it. Brian May knows it. We all know it. Let’s just put that to rest and move on with our lives, can we do that?
