Lisa may have just closed her account because she got so many tweets about "is it Adam?????????" And Monte was clueless when he tweeted the "Sick in the Head" video link -- a truly unlistenable song to top it off. It's a disgusting vid and horrifying song, ugh. And word on the street is that Monte isn't "friends" with Adam anymore on Facebook. The secret Facebook account? |

That song Monte tweeted has to be the worst song ever. LOL! It is kinda of sad that it sounds like some of the lyrics are saying. "Your dead to me, your dead to me". It would be unfortunate if him and Adam had a falling out, but it wouldn't be the first time in the history of friends, and I'm sure it will all work itself out.  |

Scroll Alert. Saw a couple mentions of Lady Gaga earlier in the thread and just wanted to comment on the Gaga Monster Ball concert on HBO Sunday night. Also, happened to catch Gaga on Ryan Seacrest today. My comment is borrowed from a former Idol judge and it goes something like: Self Indulgent Rubbish. Per the Seacrest interview, how many new releases can be churned out by someone? Perhaps people will reach a saturation point from listening to a "new" song that sounds the same as the last two or three. For some reason this has been bothering me all day and just had to get it out. Maybe it is because I am operating on 3 hours sleep in the last 24. As for the wardrobe discussion of pants, the silver ones remain an all time favorite  along with his Idol tour leather and - well - just about any pants he wants to put on, or not.  No Aqua shorts though. There have been very few occasions when I did not think he pulled his fashion statement together. He is fashion concisous all of the time. PS - Love the picture of Sauli behind Lelia with his tongue out. I wonder how he is going to explain it. "Oh, sorry. Just had Adam's tongue in my throat and had to clear my air passage." OK - off to sleep. Have to be up at dark thirty and go to work and get ready for a big meeting. |

As always, 90% of what we do is speculate, but what strikes me is how incredibly hard and stressful it is, this "rock star" life. How incredibly difficult it must be, to try to have some semblance of a normal existence, and maintain friendships, and keep things real. No matter what, as someone becomes more famous, things do change, and relationships have to change. Sometimes people get it, and sometimes they don't. I feel for Monte and Lisa, with their 4 kids, and Monte trying to make a career of his own. There's got to be an undercurrent of weirdness, that he is in some sense using Adam's fans to move forward on his own. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, but still... weird. Weird is a good word to describe this new dynamic. I often think in some ways it's easier for the people who get "plucked" from some small towns where their friends and family have no entertainment related ambitions. How many pre-Idol friends did Adam have who are trying to "make it" in Hollywood? 100? And it's natural that everyone wants some help/a break/connections. But the weight of all those people hoping for Adam to help make their own dreams come true must be heavy indeed for someone with such a generous heart. ETA: Holy crap. New developments looking ugly. :-/ This sucks. |

I wonder how many 'bums on seats' Monte and Tommy's previous gigs would have actually got without the Adam tie-in. Also Monte raised over $60,000 from mostly Adam's fans. Would He have raised that kind of money without Adam's fans. I really like Monte, but Lisa stepped way over the line tonight by tweeting that out in public. |

This is crazy. WTH is happening. I thought it was a good thing that Monte, Tommy, etc were doing there on thing. If Monte already had a house full of people, what diff does it make if Adam is there?
Just gonna sift through the facts as they come through. This is def not a popcorn moment.

(I'm not cutting Lisa any slack....we've all been in the exhausted baby raising phase - plus, she tends to whine....A LOT - stopped following her ages ago because of that) Well, having just gotten out of the exhausted baby raising stage (I love the nursery school stage comparatively) and watching my friends continue to go through the multi-kid-completely-drained-please-shoot-me-now-baby/toddler stages....I'm willing to cut Lisa slack if that's what indeed caused today's rant. I swear little kids can be mental health vampires and there are days that you are so drained that even little things can cause you to snap like a twig. Little frustrations - perhaps like your husband's friend not overtly supporting your husband in the way you would ideally wish - that would normally be shrugged off, just loom completely out of proportion. Twitter, however, is indeed the devil tho' if you try to use it as a pressure release valve when your emotions are everywhere. I feel for Lisa, but this was just a bad, bad move which she's gonna have to face in the morning. ETA: If I were her, as soon as I got my wits back together I'd reinstate my Twitter with a "Two hours sleep in two days; lost my mind; pretty please pretend that last night didn't happen" message. |

Just a gut feeling, but if this is a falling out with Monte, I bet it isn't about not attending a gig, but possibly Monte's participation with either playing or writing with Adam on Adam #2.
