I take concert riders with a grain of salt because it is often a joke amongst artists that they deliberately put outrageous things in the riders just to see if they can get away with it. I've seen many interviews with rock bands where they are laughing themselves silly over the shit they thought up to put in their tour rider. It's like a game they play. Everyone except Mirah Carey.. ;D ETA: I do not see anything in the RS Katy Perry article that makes her seem "too big for her britches." But I am a Katy fan so maybe not a great judge of it. I guess I am just not a female singer fan. I tend to like male performers. My all time favorite female performer is Bette Midler, though. So I have exceptions.. I guess my perception is somewhat different because of my dislike for diva behavior. I am becoming a strong Adele fan and absolutely love "Rolling in the Deep" |
