I'm watching it now... there's that Jackie Thorn.. she's at the same year as Adam ... i guess it's another competition reality tv OK! That's why Adam tweeted about this. He and Jackie have remained close friends. She has been in the pics of all his big parties; Halloween, NYE, BD, etc. I figured he must have had a friend on the show. This concert was also televised on PBS -- so about 1 million more broadcast viewers. The one I would love to see Adam get to do is DC 4th of July. About 1 million people live and more on TV plus it gets picked up on the local news in many markets. It is not = to Oprah or even Ellen but it is a different audience. Q3, you seem to know a lot of people in a lot of different places. Maybe you can put a bug in someones ear and get the ball rolling. I would definitely attend that concert for one song. Actually thought about attending the Moscow concert. My kids wants to go back to their roots in Ukraine. We could have gotten the 2 visas each for each country and triangulated. Moscow - eastern Ukraine to /western Ukraine - Kiev, then back home. Awfully tempted, but with current real estate issues it was denied by hubby. I do not know "those" people. Plus, I think it will be a 3 or more years post-AMA for Adam to get a gig like that. |

Liked Platinum Hit. Funny though, I didn't connect with any of the contestants.
Jackie Tohn was good however I remember her mean streak when she first got on Twitter and have never liked her as a person since. She was like a roving reporter outside the auditions for S9. People were tweeting her about Adam wannabe's and she was quite nasty.

Jackie Tohn www.jackietohn.com/Awesome for her, but I don't buy that's why he tweeted. He sent out a promotional tweet that other writers and producers tweeted (verbatim). If it was about Jackie, he would have said, ~Catch my friend Jackie on ... but he didn't. This was a pre-written tweet that I truly believe was pushed out by ASCAP or management or word-of-mouth among songwriters. I have DVR set, but won't be staying up at this rate. |
