So in continuing our tradition of having a "Get in Shape!" weekly meeting. Here is a brand new thread to come together and support each other in our shaping up efforts. Everyone on ATOP is invited. You can start any time of year. We meet on Wednesdays except for special times such as of course New Years. And you don't have to wait for Wednesday either. Use this thread whenever you feel the urge to share what's up (or hopefully down ). Feel free to post as much info as you want but bear in mind that this location is viewable by non-members too. I'd like to hold some video meetings this year if anyone else is up to it. There is a really easy program called zoom.us that will work on phones and tablets as well. Happy Shaping!

Hi, I'm Jablea (Ja-blee-ah) or sometimes Jab for short and I need to Shape Up. This will be my 6th year of hosting the thread which I've done since 2011.
My biggest issues are snacking and not having the healthiest of meals.
Since it's New Years I've switched back to my Chappy original exercise bike profile pic.

Hi, I'm Rihannsu and I'm calling last year my Retrograde year. LOL I went backwards but plan on shifting back to forward in 2016 both fitness and budget wise. As always my one and only hard and fast commitment for the year is to absolutely track everything. I use MyFitnesspal and Fitbit for the body and YNAB (You Need A Budget) for finances. Starting out the year at 137.2 lbs which is about 10 lbs more than I'd like but a far cry from Dec 2012 where I started at 182 lbs.
I need to work on toning and knee issues this year.

Hi! I'm stardust and I have to admit this has been a difficult year. I managed to lose 10 lbs and then in Nov and Dec stressed out and gained it all back!! So hard to get back on track, but I'm not giving up!

Hello, I'm Sophie - and I'm a Chocoholic.... After a sad couple of years, I find myself about 22lbs heavier than I was. I hardly even noticed. Starting the year at 168lbs. 1 aim to lose 20 lbs and get back the use of most of my wardrobe..... On holiday from this coming Weds for a couple of weeks so not a great start....duh....but will be back here soon. Thanks Jablea for the thread and thanks Rihannsu for the inspiration....

Happy * New Year !! Thanks for hosting this again, Jablea On the 11th, I start working from home. I will be managing a group of phone reps (who are also virtual). I've worked for a large cable/internet/phone/ home sec provider for 18 years but always in office. I am so excited. I' ll save about two hours a day in getting ready and commuting, not to mention a ton of stress ! Plus, I can eat healthier at home. We are so busy, I eat too much fast food on the run, in the office. I plan to take my puppy Sofia. (German Shepard/ border mix) for a quick walk during my lunch hour. With my laptop, IPhone and Apple Watch, as my office, I am free to work inside or outside. I will be traveling once a month to reps home office - They are in my area and an awesome group of long time employees. So, with a milestone B'day coming up, and an Adam tour, I need to get healthier, and fit. My goal is to lose about 30lbs or a couple sizes, whichever comes first. And to have more energy, and reduce diabetes meds too. Looking forward to a great 2016!

Hello everyone, I'm back too this year. After losing 50 lbs in 2014, I put close to half of that back on in 2015. Can kick myself for letting things go like that again, so as of January 4th I'm trying to get on track again to lose what I put back on. Unfortunately in a week we're off to Vegas for a week, so not great conditions to watch my weight, but I'll be trying hard between now and then and definitely when we return and will do my best to watch it while we're away. I have a horrible sweet tooth, especially for milk chocolate and the only way it's going to work for me is not to have any. Can't seem to just have a tiny bit.
Thanks for starting this up again Jablea!

Wednesday - Check in DayWell we are all back and chapf has turned the lights on in the workout studio for us. I know several of our members are traveling but everyone who is available it's check in day. Oh and did you know that this year is a Leap Year? If only I could still leap in actuality.
