www.adamofficial.com/ca/node/2012452CougA-dam: Monday, June 6, 2011 - 16:38 Kara DioGuardi mention Adam in her book.Have anyone read Kara DioGuardi's book " A Helluva High Note"? I finished Steven Tyler book and now start reading Kara's book. When she talked about becoming the fourth judge. She said she never watched the whole AI. She met the winners and wrote songs for them after. She wrote " They reroute some of the contestants from San Francisco to Los Angeles for the prelimainary auditions ( the ones prior to the auditions America sees on television). this is when she first met Adam Lambert. She woted " He had a great voice, but was doing this very dramatic thing with his eyes. The producers weren't sure about him, speculating that Cowell might not like him" Then she wrote " but I said No way, We've got to put him through".. and thank God they did.. she said. " Can you imagine a Season 8 without his rendition of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire, Tears for Fears' Mad World, or Nina Simone's Feeling Good?......" They weren't going to put Adam through but they put the Pant on Fire guy on... and those crazy contestants... seriously??? I couldn't take her words.. because Paula was the first one who recognize Adam's talent. I doubt Kara fight for Adam. From the first layer (step of audition), the producers already sending message to the next one to watch for this theater kid. Yes... Simon was on the fence at first but he couldn't deny Adam's voice on Hollywood week and was impressed when Adam sing Believe and on the group number.. and Simon said its not good news.. it's better than good.. it's GREAT.. because all of them agree that he should go to top 36

That was one of the few times I saw Adam really struggle on AI. After he sang, I remember this little half smirk that came over his face for a nanosecond..who knows what he was thinking, but I wonder if Adam didn't see planes too.

Just looked at the Pennyroyal site. The JD pendant is a wing, reminded me of Adam fanclub merchandise. I don't see a JD pendant there. Do you have a link? pennyroyalstudio.com/

I am not a Dr. but James doesn't seem bi-polar to me at all. Doesn't that invlove abrupt mood changes? I don't think anyone can make a diagnosis, like that, from afar. To me, James just seems, clueless, immature, and self absorbed. This..^^ clueless, immature and self absorbed describes it perfectly.. Danny is starting to look like a great guy right now.. Glad Adam is off the hook

To me, James just seems, clueless, immature, and self absorbed. I didn't say he was bipolar. Never even thought that. I was using my disorder as an example of comparing symptoms of various mental disorders. He might be all of the things you described. Just trying to understand how symptoms of these disorders can be so standardized. He might be an ass. But I think bringing the Aspergers thing into it is unfair to him if people are going to use their experience with someone who suffers from the same disorder. I don't think I've ever read where he personally has used his disorder as an excuse. If anything, it's the Idol machine that put that whole thing out there and allowed him to to advance (before the public voting) based on that. Just another back story that I unfortunately think will hurt the poor guy. It doesn't matter to me if you're a teacher, doctor, social worker - whatever. Unless you've been in that person's shoes, you don't have any idea what is going on in their heads. Even if you are a person who suffers from the same disorder - whatever it is - you are not in that other person's head. Yes, we should all make the right decisions on how to represent ourselves in life, but I've sure had enough bashing (by myself and others) for the things that I've done that I really could not mentally control at the time. Things that I know were probably horrible, that I don't remember. That doesn't mean that I haven't spent hours and days regretting those actions and wishing I could take them back. Sorry, I digress, this is not about me. Just trying to understand the generalization and overall unsympathetic comments regarding some comments by an obviously confused young man. Doesn't really matter, and I should delete, but that's how I feel about it. Not trying to start any arguments.

The Art of Communication and The Singer Posted on June 6, 2011 by soundbath [/b] Angelina: It is also amazing to watch Adam being interviews, because he seems to be able to switch from interviewer to interviewer and to communicate with them each almost at their own level. Christine: In my field, which is communication, it is not only the words, but the affect, the degree of formality, the degree of respect, the degree of use of idioms, or use of erudite language, or whatever – all of that I have to be aware of so that I can provide an equivalent interpretation. So I notice these things when Adam talks. He does what we call ‘code switching’, which is to change the way he talks – the vocabulary, the grammar – to match the person he’s talking with and he will even do it with body language, he’ll match their body language. I don’t know where he’s learnt that, but it’s smart. Angelina: It’s part of the very basics that you learn in stage craft. One of the very first exercises they usually give you, is that you have to find a partner and then you do the mirroring exercises, where you mirror each other’s movements first of all, and later, facial expressions, body language, words and voice tone and inflections, etc. Christine: Oh, do you know? You do the same thing in beginning sign language classes. You have to be able to read what the other person is saying visually. Angelina: See? Master communicator. And then taking it a step further – taking it on stage and doing that for a lot of people – making them feel safe. soundbath.wordpress.com/2011/06/06/the-art-of-communication-and-the-singer/[/blockquote] This isn't totally off topic because we've been talking about Adam's communication and social skills and JD's lack thereof. I wasn't certain I should post this, but then I read the outline/radio script of Angelina & Cassie's conversation. I've been working on one of Adam's social networking sites called Tribe.Net. It's a fascinating place. Click for link: Could Adam's extraordinary people skills stem from the fact that he is an empath? Adam includes the following as one of his tribes:

He does have symptoms of being bipolar as opposed to Asbergers. However I also pointed out there are varying degrees of Asbergers as there are varying degrees of autism. It is mostly based on your ability to perform taks, emote, etc. and make it in the real world
