I hear what you are saying...and you may well be right....but he was casually dismissive of Drake I suspect....I remember a tweet from Drake referencing 'Loaded Smile'....and that was not about marriage but about love. If Drake went along with a 'love-less' relationship, I would expect it would have been either for the political statement of the relationship or for the publicity but he has not used either of those options so I would assume he really cared. I am not trying to be provocative in any way and I never felt any particular connection for Drake, along with agreeing that the relationship never seemed to have any spark. But that may be because Adam made it abundantly clear that his feelings for Drake did not run particularly deep. Maybe I need to quit thinking out loud!! : ??? Oh come on now! Everyone knows Adam and Drake were tru wuv! How could anyone NOT love a man who could make such epic bitch faces and rock a twink tank so flawlessly or make a painting of saggy orange boobs so expertly?!?!?! HAHAHAHA...chunky...you do have a way with words!! ;D ;D

I know it is not our business, and I expect that they have discussed, or at least made their opinions known to each other, but I can't help wondering if the 'I don't see marriage in my future' might be hurtful to Sauli. I remember feeling really sorry for Drake having to be seen as Adam's boyfriend at the same time as he made it abundantly clear, multiple times, that he was only ever in love once and that it was not his present [drake] relationship. How to hurt someone!!! Sometimes complete honesty may not be the kindest option.....who knows...just empathizing... There are more straight people not getting married than married today.. It's a trend. Adam has said he would like children one day, when he has the time to give them.. I would expect he feels the same about marriage. He is building his career and he's young. I do believe from what I see ,that Adam and Sauli are in love. Why can't they be together without the benefit of Marriage? Can you imagine the immigration problems they would have if they married?

Adam has openly mentioned love in the context of Sauli, so Sauli can feel good with that. I don't think the fact that he doesn't see marriage in his future correlates to the strength of his feelings for Sauli, whatever they may be. It is smart that Adam doesn't talk about his relationship. Words can be interpreted so differently because of our own backgrounds and experiences. I respect that he doesn't want to submit the people he cares about, as well as himself, to that kind of speculation. At the same time, he does make it very clear in word and action that Sauli is significant in his life. The love he feels inspires him, and it is good. And he no longer is afraid of growing old and being alone. And that makes me feel squishy for and about both of them.

She is in a wonderful relationship with a wonderful man, right now. She has hinted, to me, that she is not interested in having children. She is really into dogs! With that in mind, I can completely see she and her guy not getting married. In my old age, I have come to the conclusion that unless you want children, getting married just isn't a big deal anymore.

How to hurt someone!!! Sometimes complete honesty may not be the kindest option.....who knows...just empathizing... IMO, that was the only answer he could give. He just refused to say anything about Sauli. If he had given any other answer, it would have been interpreted as "thinking about marrying Sauli." Even if they are thinking of getting married tomorrow, he still gave the right answer. There's a lot of space between "love-less" and "in love" . To assume that it has to be one or the other is a little strange, IMO. There's all the time of giving a relationship time to develop. And for 5 months of the Adam and Drake relationship, Adam was on Idol, with very few chances to be together. Then the tour for another 3 months. So not having the chance to fall "in love" makes complete sense to me. ITA mys*&@^#r Timing had A LOT to do with their relationship. And IMO the timing for THIS relationship was perfect.

ITA with you....but....Adam did not say 'I am not ready to consider this at the moment' the way he has said he might like children one day...he said "I do not see marriage in my future"...that is quite a different statement...there are no hedges quoted [and this may be the issue] but no hedges like 'for now' or the 'foreseeable' future or 'at the moment'. Nor did he say 'I don't really see a reason to formalize our/any relationship"...just struck me odd as stated...looked pretty definite. JMHO...

Have 3 min alone and need to say that after listening to OOL over and over, someone needs to write a screenplay just so that song can be the theme. It is so beautiful, heart wrenching, and evokes, at least to me, incredible, tender, emotional mental images. To waste it would be a crime. savvy92pf Do you know how many times these past few days I had the SAME thought? This song needs a screenplay badly!

Ah, thanks Star Magazine for bringing back the openly gay singer thing. From now on I am going to address every popstar with the 'openly" prefix...such as Lady Gaga the openly meat wearing singer, Katy Perry the openly whipped cream boob squirting singer and Kesha the openly tone deaf singer.....fabulous. I KNOW I'M SPAMMING THE THREAD BUT LOLOLOLOLOL CHUNKEY!!!! I LOVE YOU!
