I am a tech fail. One of my favorite Top 5 songs with a bit of pretty Adam. I hope this is the song he sang at Brooke's wedding.

Here goes. Can hear Adam singing this!! If by Bread. Sorry still can't bring it over. I am taking the liberty of bringing over Jane Monheit's version, which I like better than the original. Don't know this singer but very beautiful. I love the lyrics in this song.

He sang longer versions many times. Here's the Amar a Morir movie Soundtrack that he did (a Meican movie). Doesn't include the last two stanzas, but okay It's really the AI producers I judge for the version they deemed was appropriate for the Idol audience. Sorry, this is nothing against Jason-- I do like him. I just have a lot of feelings about this, I guess

So many great songs mentioned already! Lots of my favorites already covered, so hopefully these aren't duplicates: 1. "Night and Day" by Cole PorterMy favorite version is by Frank Sinatra, with an arrangement by Nelson Riddle, from 1956. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a video. So, here is a version from the Cole Porter bio-pic "De-Lovely" 2. "What's Goin' On" By Marvin Gaye, Renaldo Benson and Al Cleveland3. "But Not For Me" by George and Ira Gershwin4. "Cold" By Annie LennoxNot one of her biggest hits, but I think the lyrics are beautiful. 5. "Billie Jean" by Michael JacksonIt's still one of my favorite songs ever. I also like the re-arrangement by Chris Cornell (which David Cook performed on Idol). Michael Jackson: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zi_XLOBDo_Y&ob=av3eChris Cornell:

Someone asked earlier, "Why no Top 40 songs? Is it because we are too old?" My answer is "Yes!!" << ETA: That sounds harsh! :( It probably is just because many members here have admitted that they do not listen to Top 40 radio. There are lots of great top 40 songs from recent years. Will they pass the test of time? Who knows right now. Only time will tell. This is the first one that comes to mind: Then these: I could go on and on with great songs from the past 5 years. But you get the idea.

And that was considered his signature song from that season! But Adam sure sang about "every inch of his love" didn't he! ;D ILHSFM!
