I had to choose one of Dire Straits songs, 'cause DS has been my all time favourite music starting from my high school years and I've been in their conserts too. It is hard to choose just one. Dire Straits - Sultans Of Swing (Live) Bon Jovi - It's My Life U2 - With Or Without You Abba - Mamma Mia Knocking On Heaven's Door There are many different and good versions of this Bob Dylan's song. Here are two that I like: Finnish rock group Leningrad Cowboys and Red Russian Army ChoirAnd a comment from YT: If a Finnish Rock group can get together with a Russian choir to rock out to a song by an American folk singer, can't we all find a way to get along. Guns N Roses - Knocking On Heaven's Door :-) today at this moment my answer to Q3's question was this. But to choose only five,... tomorrow - or later today - my answer could be totally different

Wow! been liking all the 70's rock 8-) ... such memories of teen years It is so hard to choose only 5. Q3 you should have asked us to list 10! Mine, in no particular order and also for my current mood (don't know how to embed, sorry!): Stairway to Heaven -- Led Zep Goodbye to Romance -- Ozzy Osborne My Guitar Gently Weeps -- Eric Clapton/George Harrison (equally both good!) In My Life/Imagine -- John Lennon You Are Everything/You Make Me Feel Brank New/Break Up to Make Up -- Stylistics (oh yeah!)

What is most amazing to me reading the lists of five is everyone's taste in music is so diverse, yet we all agree Adam is our favorite singer at this moment in time. It's like the universe blinked one day and millions on the planet earth became one mind.

Don't see these on any list - guess I have strange music taste. That's ok. 8-) 1. If I Can Dream - Elvis 2. Take Me Home, Country Roads - John Denver 3. Raise Me Up - Josh Groban 4. Bridge Over Troubled Waters - Righteous Bros 5. Star Spangled Banner - Francis Scott Key I love songs that touch my heart, that inspire me or make me cry. Many religious and patriotic songs are on my list of best ever.
Q3 nomination note: Star Spangled Banner was composed before 1900 so not qualified and BOTW already nominated.

No one has mentioned Elvis yet. Here's Love Me Tender on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1956, one of my all time favorite songs . I remember this as if it were yesterday. It's one of those moments of "Do you remember where you were when..." I'd LOVE to hear Adam sing this song!

I mentioned 4 songs earlier. Here is a 5th one.
You're No Good -Linda Ronstadt
I have memories of belting this song out loud in the car with friends!
