Don't see these on any list - guess I have strange music taste. That's ok. 8-) 1. If I Can Dream - Elvis 2. Take Me Home, Country Roads - John Denver 3. Raise Me Up - Josh Groban 4. Bridge Over Troubled Waters - Righteous Bros 5. Star Spangled Banner - Francis Scott Key I love songs that touch my heart, that inspire me or make me cry. Many religious and patriotic songs are on my list of best ever. Love, love, love the Righteous Bros: You've lost that loving feeling - The Righteous Brothers

Janie's Got a Gun-Aerosmith (although for sheer fun-Eat the Rich) Proud Mary-Tina Turner Hotel California-Eagles Ol'Man River-Paul Robeson Bridge over troubled water-original Simon and Garfunkel ( the fact that this has been covered to death sometimes badly, doesn't take away from the power of the original)

I slept late and missed the burning of the Trojan Horse, but took some screen caps yesterday, and I think this is momtomany's Trojan Horse: oh, now they are talking about The Dodos in BM webcast. Small world... You didn't miss it, auroroa. The live stream didn't show it. :(

If it was the horse that was on fire, it was down to about it's knees. The horse looked so good and must a cost a lot to build, not to mention all the time put into the planning and building. Why did they burn it? I know it's Burning Man. Does that mean you have to burn everything?

Five songs that I consider the best of all time:
1. Stand By Me, written by Ben E. King, Jerry Leiber, and Mike Stoller, sung by Ben E. King 2. Long, Long Time, written by Gary B. White, sung by Linda Ronstadt 3. The Boxer, written by Paul Simon, sung by Simon and Garfunkel 4. In the Ghetto, written by Mac Davis, sung by Elvis Presley 5. Oldest Living Son, written and sung by John Stewart
