I agree about this not being related to the Heidi video blog -- that was filmed a lifetime ago. The thinking about his skin question may be part of what triggered this. It looks better but the scarring is so significant that it is not a simple matter to remove them.
Personally, I think he is beautiful just the way he is.

Adam has been acting so grown up lately regarding his relationship with Sauli, and expressing the fact that he was in love. Is this what we do when we are in love now? Maybe young people do these things and it is all right today. I don't know. I'm not a prude either. I love gay porn (not that the picture was porn) just want you to know I am not a prude. I just feel wrong and funny and scared about that picture. God, I don't want to sound judgemental either. I have never been to a gay bar. Maybe that is what they do there and everything is okay. Just curious what others think I guess. Don't get too mad at me. I am just an old lady, not very hip anymore. I don’t see it as an issue. Different cultures, what we are immersed in, act differently. Not to generalize, but my close Italian friends are huggers and kissers, a musician friend, in particular, will stand around for 30 minutes never taking his arm off my shoulder, kissing the top of my head, and he’s been doing that for 21 years. His girlfriend, who I fixed him up with 13 years ago, will be across the room and not think a thing about it because that is how he is. I always kid him about liking to “schmooz,” but he’s just flirty like Adam with no intent attached. |

Hoopla what a wonderful tweet. I sure hope Adam sees it. You're inspiring just like GNAMFBL!!  I hope he sees it too, that was beautiful. I have no way of knowing this, but I get the feeling Sauli is generous with affection and compliments. the "Just say nice things and kiss me a lot" answer to what he wants from a partner has hopefully become a reality and is helping any lingering insecurities. Yeah, the makeup questions get old. I don't thing Heidi was purposely cold but it is so strange to watch an interviewer who doesn't get giddy and a little fangirly even after TOUCHING him. ??? By the way, I’ve always found jealousy an evil emotion. I had a girlfriend with an very, very jealous husband (28 yrs her junior) who found it flattering that he was (irrationally) jealous. To me, it just means he thinks you’re a slut and can’t be trusted. Ha, Ha, sorry I couldn’t resist that, but it’s really how I feel.

Really late catching up on the thread. Scrolling through Adam's twitter feed is amazing. The last month or so many of the tweets have been from his core fan base. Tonight's sharing is like a roll call of his followers. It's an awe inspiring outpouring the likes of which I've never experienced. Adam truly is a pied piper with a heart of gold.

I thought Adam looked very uncomfortable with that opening salvo about his makeup. I think that was what led to his reflection about his insecurities--maybe one of his biggest ones--his scarred skin.
