As for the rest of the drama/angst/whatever, I'm attempting to remain zen, although curious. Me too. I'm not sure what Neil was thinking. He must know he's opened a can of worms. I agree with Marilyn:

There was some Monte stan on Twitter last night who was saying she talked to Monte this past week and he knew about this album. How did he know about it, but Adam didn't? >:( Whatever the truth is this above is one of the reasons I'm team side-eyeing Monte, who I'm sure has his own valid personal reasons, financial or artistic for whatever his stance is on all this. THIS was the biggest red flag for me, also. The Monte stan thought her conversation with Monte was clearing his name, but it ended up pointing to some possible before-hand knowledge on MP's part. Yep, I feel the same. I'm here for Adam, don't care if the rest of them show up or not for the next era!

One of my old bookcase tricks is to use boards and stack with books at the ends or cinder blocks. Instant bookshelves for very little money. I have also stacked them along a wall -- I stack them so they look intentional that way (maybe a stairstep look or something). When in doubt, make a couple of equal stacks and throw a small tablecloth over the top. Too many years of school and a love of books have made me very inventive over time! Good luck!

Well.... but really? Monte wants the CV recordings to have a wide audience and he's pissed at Adam for blocking that? Why would Monte think wide distribution of the CV recordings would be awesome for his career? So his guitar-playing would be showcased? LOL. It's Adam's voice on the CV recordings. I adore Adam but let's be real-- who but die-hard Adam fans are gonna buy the CV recordings? I don't go on iTunes and look for albums with epic guitar playing. The one and only reason Monte would benefit from the CV recordings being released is because Adam fans would buy them. Lots of Adam fans want those songs badly. They will sell even if Adam is unhappy about it. I suspect that the fans that want the songs badly are very invested fans who are unlikely to do anything that would not benefit Adam or that Adam was against. It would be a situation where illegal downloads would be the way most fans would obtain the music. That's how I would do it. Anyway, I guess we're going 'round and 'round at this point, based on very little info. I fully admit to being biased in favor of Adam. And I will be very pleased to make a full public apology for any and all of my suspicions against Monte if it turns out he is blameless. :D New thread is up. Nite all!

I know nobody is going to read this anymore, but: umm, is there anyone else here who doesn't care about his whole Monte/Adam drama? I mean, I just have zero interest in it. I feel like whatever happens is their business, they're big boys, they can handle it just fine (and better than us, who have like a 10th of the information of what's really going on). My primary (and basically sole) investment is in Adam, so I will just keep following him whatever happens. And I kinda feel like fans getting involved in this whole thing on twitter just adds extra unnecessary pressure. Soooo... yeah. How 'bout that new music? Oh yeah, none yet. Carry on. )

I'm stealing bits and pieces of all your ideas. Gonna try moving one of the couches forward, stack books behind it and cover with a matching tablecloth and some throw pillows. ;D
Walmart is too far away and gotta save the trunk for luggage.

Actually, I agree with you about this. Monte probably is not happy with Adam about this. If he did it, I doubt it was an accident. Well.... but really? But, I bet that Monte does! Not saying Monte's theoretical reaction would be logical, just that it would be human. Artists want people to see/hear their work. Not only did Monte play guitar, but he co-wrote the songs. They may be his "babies." Whether the CV recordings advance Monte's status as a guitarist or songwriter, whether he receives any monetary benefit, getting his work "out there" can be a compelling motivation. but, it is just a theory. You made some very valid points, but I still see it as a betrayal on Monte's part (if what we are speculating about really happened) :-[
