I'll join the team #longhairnotsomuch #allothersarefine To be honest, I am less keen on that second run at the end of WATC. Adam going overboard imo. Alright Adam cannot err he is from planet fierce and fiercians have no faults so shut up. But yes, I think at that moment he just wants the experience to continue. For him it probably was all over in a flash. Wonder how many times he is re-watching his own performance? Hope, if he does, he can enjoy it and does not go over-critical on himself. He did so great, it boggles my mind, still 4 days later. Online as far as I know the best sound is still at tv.mtvema.com/videoI have to agree with you, if I'm being completely honest with myself. That is the part only neg part of the whole 8 min epic performance in my opinion. /0\ /0\ ??? Didn't like it as much. BUT I'm such on a high for the rest of the 7.5 minutes that it's not really all that big of a deal. We all have our opinions, for sure. Just had a peek at another board - a fan video taken on the floor, next to the stage where Adam and Brian ended the performance. The second go-round refrain of "We Are The Champions" fit perfectly as an encore to this song - the final verse of their epic set. Adam strutted down the runway and enticed Brian; the fans were batshit! And then, at the end, Adam is getting ready to sing " - of the world" and Brian is looking at Adam, and also at the stage, so their 'cues' will be in synch - and Adam's vocal riff at the end might not have been perfectly aligned with what everyone doing the sound, the staging, and the final chord were immediately ready for (after all, that is the definition of a riff!) - - - - but it was fantastic! Crowd obviously went fucking nuts, and so did I! This ending was over-the-top and just what the set needed, knowing this would end the show. Fabulous! jmho . . . now, on with the show!

Hi. You don’t know me, but I know all of you. I’ve been here with you in the shadows for a long time, celebrating, angsting and LOL-ing at your eloquent and witty posts. EMA tears have finally stopped rolling down my cheeks (mostly), but my heart and mind are still reeling. I hope that by letting my thoughts spill out onto the page, I’ll be able to regain some measure of composure. I loved––and loved best––every minute of it. Sunday’s stunning performance with Queen was the very essence of Adam––every small detail thoughtfully and intelligently orchestrated. As he likes to do, he told a story in three acts, beautifully costumed and brilliantly performed. He once again proved that “theatrical” is a very good thing. He began in the shadows echoing Freddie’s heartbreaking last song, and then as an impossibly beautiful shaman, he conjured up the “spirit of Mercury.” Casting his spell, he moved about Queen’s white light reminding us all that the “fairytales of yesterday grow old but never die.” And he brought back to life the magic and power and wonder that was Queen, and made the music whole again. Then strutting down the catwalk to a few bars of one great song and the chant of another, he reminded everyone of how brilliantly Queen rocked. Joyfully the powerful shaman coaxed Brian into his rightful place in the spotlight of music history. Finally, simultaneously deferential and triumphant, he proclaimed Queen champions of the world. He evoked Freddie by singing his words, but his spectacularly soaring voice and commanding stage presence were Adam all the way. What a risk he took, standing in for a legendary icon so Queen could accept their due. He bridged past, present and future, and from beginning to end, he did it perfectly. In its elegantly complex simplicity, this was performance art at its finest. Who would have thought that Nina Garcia of all people would have found the right word--GENIUS. Before I step back to the safety of lurkerdom, I just want to say. ILHSFM. Still back on the page of playitagain's delurking, but didn't want to keep going (and possibly get sidetracked) without saying HI!!! Gorgeous first post. LOVED IT!!! Also, LOVED yours, too, velvet glammine!! The video is fantastic and sooo glad you joined us. Fun times ahead! I hope you both join us often.

I can't control the world. I can only make recommendations here. However, we usually have a lot more peeps watching than posting, and hopefully they'll see the recommendation too. Yes, I know that. There are thousands of active fans on twitter. It's good to get the word out here at ATOP, but there are tons of fans on twitter who don't belong to any board. Twitter is their fanboard. Most of the tweets have stated that BFM isn't Adam's new single, isn't from his new album or that BFM is from four years ago and Adam doesn't endorse this single. I haven't really seen anything crazy. lol I'm sure it will be fine. Speaking of, which communities/boards have the most fans and are the most active? I am quite new to the fandom and only know Adamtopia, for your entertainment and adam official..

We all have our opinions, for sure. [...] We Are The Champions ... Adam's vocal riff at the end might not have been perfectly aligned with what everyone doing the sound, the staging, and the final chord were immediately ready for (after all, that is the definition of a riff!) - - - - but it was fantastic! Crowd obviously went fucking nuts, and so did I! This ending was over-the-top and just what the set needed, knowing this would end the showYES to this! My fav moment in the medley is knowing that the hundreds, maybe thousands, of people at the EMA who otherwise had absolutely no idea who Adam was (or the ones who had heard of him but had no idea of his vocal mastery) came to not only anticipate that final WATC riff, but most of them knew that it would be EPIC and PERFECT! Adam started out in the dark as an unknown silhouette, his vocals and delivery caught many off guard, but in the end people knew and trusted that he would deliver what they never thought they would hear. It's MAGIC! ETA... and my happiest moment was when I heard Adam sang his first words and knew he had Adamized ...

Just have to pop in here and say that I didn't think the last epic riffing was overkill at all.....this was the final moments of a major TV show. He's singing with QUEEN (not some nabby pamby kinda flavour of the month pop band). It HAD to end with an overthetop epic moment!.... Watch the latest fan video....check out the guys in the bottom far right. They lost their effin' minds on that riff. :D
