It's not as if Adam is donating to Amway. In fact, in a way they are donating to him. Maybe we could look at it as him taking money that they would have given to some right-wing cause. Or at least view it as a step in the correct direction for Amway. Maybe they're seeing the light!

I would like to throw a little note here: Not all republicans are right-wingers haters, not all gay people hang out in seedy bars, not all Christians are ultra-conservative bullies, not all jewish people are stingy and not all islamic people like to blow things up. As a moderate Republican, I'm beginning to feel abused. :-/ :-/ ITA but Amway's owners personally and their corporation has substantially supported anti-gay marriage campaigns, promoted Christian prayer in public schools and many other political activities that are specifically in contradiction to what Adam supports. I have nothing against Republicans (since I am one) and I fully support Amway's first amendment rights --- but the combination of Adam + Amway is just odd. I just hope he is getting a ton on money. ETA: And is headed somewhere else in Asia Pacific. + well... but THEY invited him (or I suppose so). It is THEIR choice or problem to have him and PAY him... You know - we can go as far as to say AI is on FOX, the home of FOX NEWS, owned by Rupert Murdoch, etc, etc.... How could he go on the show that runs on FOX? this can get really ridiculous...

I am much more puzzled by them booking Adam than Adam accepting the gig.

I have no issue with Adam doing this -- take their money, But why would Amway book Adam??? There are tons of other Idol alums that make more sense to me.

And another thing-- most people in China are NOT Christians. Or Republicans. Hell, they don't care what prejudices we harbor here.
