If this post makes it through, Q3, what is going on with Adamtopia??? Every 3 posts, I can't make a connection? I just posted a long post, and it disappeared?? WTH? Not blaming you, I have seen others saying they're getting kicked off all the time for the last 3 days at least?
It's so frustrating. Have you seen the comments about it? Just curious...and struggling here.

It is very possible that they booked Adam because they simply wanted Adam Lambert, gay or not. I do see the oddity in this situation; however, when we want change, most often we need to be the change itself. Sometimes things happen for mysterious reasons... the BESTEST AND THE MOST UNDERSTANDABLE REASON OF ALL  ! My post didn't go through...this is the third time I've tried. Something is difinitely messed up. :-/ |

Q3My thought is that DeVos must have no idea that they booked Adam.

Well, my last post made it thru, so am going to try again. My question was about uploading from Picasa3 to Photobucket. I'm dense, I guess, cause I can't remember how to do it.
I want to share some pics on the personal thread and share with my son in HI. I cannot figure out how to do it, and I know I used to know this. GAH!!!
CRS sucks!! hahahaha I know this is OT, but I do have tons of Adam pics there too, (much to the disdain of my son) GRRRRRR!!!
He will never get it, and I cannot figure out why. But, life will go on and I have the ADAM CONNECTION, so...I will let it be.
But, I really need some help here, guys. TY for anything you can do to help. Hope this one works. Atop has been so wonky for me lately, as it has for others, from what I've seen.
As far as China goes, I'm all for Adam making the most $$$$ he can. So, if that's what it takes, the go for it, Adam!!!!
I'm Independent, so doesn't matter to me. Politics suck, as far as I'm concerned...lmao!! I try to follow, but it's so fucked up, I don't know who/what to believe anymore.
I just love on my Grandson, and hope it will be betterer when he grows up. ??

For you info. This Amway event in Shanghai is an incentive tour for JAPANESE amway members. Not for Chinese. bit.ly/w3ORPF
That might explain it if it were only for Japanese amway members who probably have no interest in American politics.

There are no reported server issues right now. I'll PM a couple suggestions to you. Q3 I have been having a lot of problems with Atop over the last 2 days also... Just got the same message right now....your request has timed out...please try again. Also got the *Internet Explorer cannot find* thingy. ?? Been going on for days. I have had problems for days...having to resort to changing the page number and going completely out and coming back in. Have heard other say the same. Something is going on, for sure. |

ETA: I thought the Amway event was in Singapore not China. And I believe it is a Global event, not an Asia event Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it in Shanghai and not Singapore. ??? Yeah, I'm having 'timed out' posting issues too? |

So, has this Amway gig been officially confirmed? I missed that in the thread. Thought it was just an old rumor.
If it is true, I, too, am puzzled at the invitation. For Adam to accept this, they must be paying a Shitload of money. I mean, accepting a one off for the EMAs with Queen, that's serious cache. But Amway? Forgetting politics for a moment, my impression has always been that it is a huge pyramid scheme that attracts people with limited means and an unsophisticated, rather naive mentality and convinces them they are going to get rich selling overpriced cleaning products, cosmetics, and the like to their family and friends. It doesn't exactly fit with Adam's brand or sensibilities. Nor will it likely bring him credibility as an artist.
On the other hand, appearing and potentially wow-ing that demographic may, just may, cause a few to look beyond the "gay" and open their eyes and hearts a little bit. If one only preaches to the choir, it is hard to spread one's message broadly. Adam believes in spreading his message of acceptance, tolerance, and diversity. Is Amway a bad place to give it a try?
