The problem I have with James comment to Hollywood Gossip is that HE is the one that invoked Adam's name! HE is the one who chose to sing ACIGC with Adam's lyric change! Did anyone besides me notice that he used the phrase "we are different stylistically" like Adam did in his tweet about James? But, so what? Hasn't Adam said that when he was criticized for being theatrical, he thought 'well, pop music is theatrical - look at Gaga.' But, he got tired of the comparisons, eventually. Durbin got tired sooner. Does that make him so horrible? Yes, I noticed he made the same point Adam did. That's because . . . he's trying to make the same point. So, why complain about being compared if you're the one (James) who started the comparison to begin with?

I enjoy Adam's music, etc. and I am interested/moved by his life-story, dealing with being different. I enjoyed Durbin's performance on boys' nite (not on the other nights, though), and I am intrigued by his life-story, dealing being different in another way. Is that significantly dissimilar?

Like Adam did - Adam got tired of being compared to Gaga, Adam WAS ALSO shutting down the comparison between him and Durbin with his tweet. In that way, they are on the same page.

Let's not forget the media doesn't always provide direct quotes. It could well be that he referenced Adam tweet and they chose to leave that part out.

Adam NEVER started comparing himself with Lady Gaga, others did. Its not the same thing IMO.

James Durbin is not the enemy because he dared reference Adam Lambert as an inspiration for doing harder rock than has been done before on AI. He is not the enemy because he got tired of comparisons between him and Adam. He wouldn't even be the enemy (an artless, classless douche, etc. etc. etc.) if he'd said he didn't care for Adam. But he didn't say that - he said he liked him. James Catherwood earned a Glambert drove attack. This kid has not. I hope that doesn't happen.

You give an interview and say something about someone else, people are gonna talk...lol ETA: Imma going back into my cave and listen to acoustic aftermath some more. Later.

Should we be watching for a bump in his acoustic live EP numbers or album #s? Hmmm.... don't remember seeing any acoustic live EP numbers. Maybe I should peek into the numbers thread.I did the charts the last time I saw numbers, but they're stuck in the middle of the February thread. Give me about 10 minutes, and I'll move them to the front page of March!!
