I don't mean to make light of this earthquake situation but...Adam sings on Idol and then we get a giant quake in a region of the earth known as the "ring of fire"??? Not saying he is responsible but not saying he is not not responsbile either.
Just sayin'
Man, what is happening to the world? With every disaster I start to believe that 2012 shit even more. Ugh, so bad. God bless those people in Japan. I know I sure as hell couldn't live in a place where the earth could rock so violently beneath me without warning.
In unrelated, or possibly related news, Adam looked AMAZING last night and sounded wonderful. If this is the direction lookwise he is going in for album 2 then woohoo! He looks classically handsome and won't "freak" people out as much, which sadly is essential to getting more fans. Skin looks great, the makeup wasn't caked on, the hair was FAAAB. Plus he looked so happy and rested. Just great all around. I hope he raised a nice amount for the Trevor project and I'm sure all the great press doesn't hurt. =)

Just have to share a story from work today. The gal who works in the office with me is an Idol fan and pretty conservative. We compare notes after every show. During Adam's season, she was always enthusiastic about Adam, even hoping he would win. After the performance that shall not be named, her enthusiasm definitely cooled. Over the last year, we have rarely talked about him other than a few comments here and there when he was on Idol last year. When I heard Adam was going to be on Idol this week, I just couldn't contain my enthusiasm any longer. I let her know how excited I was about his being back on Idol and how I just LOVE him. This morning she made her way to my office and she brought up Adam's performance. She was gushing just like a real fangirl. He was amazing, he is soooo handsome, no one can sing like Adam. All I could do was ! I think there are many who had the same reaction as my friend last night. This performance for Adam was such a win. Those who liked/loved him to begin with were indeed reminded of how fabulous he is and are back in the fold. His support of the Trevor Project is something that even the most conservative can appreciate. No one wants to see a young person hurting. Do I think my friend is ready for Floorbert? Maybe not yet, but progress was made! Resistance is futile! Thank you for sharing this very awesome RL encounter! I don't care how they come back into the "fold", I just want anyone whoever left it to see Adam is a person that gives more then he takes and has more talent in his adorable little pinkie than most! I'm not prejudiced either : , all kidding aside, he is truly not for real!

On the subject of chewing gum, it has been clinically demonstrated that chewing sugarless gum most especially gum with xylitol reduces cavities in children and adults. My dentist suggested that if I could not brush after I eat, chewing gum was a good second. Here is a study from the National Institutes of Health just so you know I am not making this up. www.lib.umich.edu/taubman-health-sciences-library/nih-caries-cdc-abstracts-hayesSo, chewing gum (and I assume it is sugarless with xylitol) is one of the ways that Adam keeps those pearly whites so lickable.

That people who "left the fold" or were never in it would just expand their tunnel vision long enough to see the whole man.

It causes a rapid release of insulin, causing a sudden decrease in blood glucose.

Wow, tinafea. That's kind of scary and I don't blame you for the ban.

Glamberts are everywhere you know.
