Was digging around on Umix and found figures for WWFM sales on the Digital Tracks Catalog chart. Digital Tracks Catalog Wks| 2W| LW| TW| Artist Title TW SALES %CHG LW SALES RTD SALES 2012/06/02 1 150 LAMBERT*ADAM WHATAYA WANT FROM ME 4760 175 1729 1858638 2012/06/09 off 2858 4760 1861496 2012/06/16 2 150 --- 170 LAMBERT*ADAM WHATAYA WANT FROM ME 4942 73 2858 1866438 Also the soundscan figure for Trespassing week 3 is 11,971 if you want to note that on page 1. There is quite a bit of difference in these numbers and the most current ones I have: 5/23/12 "Whataya Want From Me has sold 1,905,000 copies to date. music.yahoo.com/blogs/chart-watch/week-ending-may-20-2012-albums-back-back-153016791.html#more-16664/21/12 Adam Lambert, Better Than I Know Myself (4,000, 123,000) Adam Lambert, If I Had You (2,000, 892,000) Adam Lambert, Whataya Want From Me (3,000, 1.895 million) content.usatoday.com/communities/idolchatter/post/2012/05/idol-track-sales-kelly-clarkson-carrie-underwood/1#.T6FnD6ttpIFProbably because the numbers I gave are from the Digital Tracks Catalog chart which would only be one version of the song. The other numbers are overall totals probably from the Digital Songs chart which combines all versions. Just to give everyone an idea that Adam is not doing that badly in terms of sales considering his radio position I played around a little with some numbers. At three weeks Adam's total percentage drop from 1st week was 85%. He has only one song on one chart at the moment, NCOE at #38 HAC. John Mayer in his third week is projected to have a total drop from 1st week sales of 83%. Currently he is charting on 3 charts one of which has 2 songs charting. #12 HAC, #21 AC, and on AAA #19 . So Mayer's percentage drop overall has been almost as steep as Adam's and he does have good position on radio.

I know this has probably been asked before, so I apologize in advance, but can someone tell me where I can look to see whether a station has played NCOE? I noticed that on their website, KBIG (LA) has NCOE on their playlist, but I haven't heard it played. I'm trying to figure out whether/how many times they actually played it. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks! KBIG has not played NCOE on air, but has played NCOE online on iheart radio several times, that might be why you see it on their playlist but not their mediabase forms. Hopefully that's a good sign? I don't know how to look up plays that don't appear on mediabase past a day or two, but the spin-watchers have noticed the online only spins. Thanks!

So Mayer's percentage drop overall has been almost as steep as Adam's and he does have good position on radio. The difference is, at an 83% drop, Mayer is still in the top 10. His album may have dropped about the same percentage wise as Adams, but his sales are much higher. The fact that JM has a song charting fairly high on HAC will probably keep him from falling off the iTunes chart completely by next week like TSP did. Visibility on the chart and having a song SOMEWHERE near the top on ANY chart can only help. The percentage drop of TSP is indeed typical and I'm not concerned about that. I'm concerned that, without a radio hit, TSP will continue to fall and possibly drop out of the BB200.

Never Close Our Eyes is back in iTunes 200 (pop) at #186. I don't remember it being lower than 200 in last week or so.

about 218 CHR spins today, +16 (10 by sirius)
With about 10 spins per day by sirius NCOE will have about 250 spins by the end of the week (probably even more with spins by other station) and according to pulse 2 songs (the songs by the wanted and train) could go into recurrency this week. Adam is getting closer to the Top 50. ;D

I agree, tigerlily, Trespassing's drops are within the typical range. I'm more worried about what will happen if the album drops completely off the BB200. And, while Mayer is dropping, he will probably stabilize in sales somewhere "decent" and hang around on the chart.
How did FYE manage to hang around on the BB200 for a year? Was it all on the strength of WWFM and IIHY? And, I guess, a few well placed promo events like Oprah and AI?

IIHY was the inexplicable song seller that keep selling waaaaaaaaaaay past its presence on radio.
I remember tabulating the numbers and just scratching my head at IIHY's sales. Not that I was complaining mind you! Just always confounded. :D

NCOE wasn't #36 yesterday, it was #37. Confused? CHR spins are increasing rapidly. I am not worried about HAC, because only about 2 songs are moving up on that chart and everyone else is just plain stuck. Rhianna passed Adam over 2 weeks ago and has been stuck at #32 forever. I've never seen the HAC chart this bogged down.
