I'm still holding out hope for the Olympics. Adam may not be British, but he'll be singing British music with a British band. We saw what a jump Trespassing took on Amazon when the Kiev concert videos were posted; imagine what a performance at the closing ceremonies of the Olympics could do!I think Roger is not good at keeping secrets! I think some of the first leaks we got about the extra concerts were from him. The Olympics would be wonderfulbut I think it would be 1-2 songs only. I am hoping he means more concerts, next year, in the US! PLEASE!!!

Plz vote once an hour here. It counts on Canada's charts www.muchmore.ca/mmtop20/And now my nagging is done! Happy 4th of July, guys!! Thanks for the reminder, mys*&@^#r. You've all probably thought of this. I finally figured out that, in order to request throughout each day, it is easier to bookmark all the key request links in one folder. Then just go through that folder when able throughout the day. Otherwise I keep responding to a link here or there after going through all of them in the morning. Anyway seems more methodical and therefore consistently do-able for me. Yes! That's how I pull up the almost exact same post everyday about requests. I actually keep it in my PMs, PMd to myself. There it is and I just go to it every morning!

Still watching vids, way too late in the evening/early in the morning. Adam is so hugely theatrical. Not at all like Freddie in his voice, his movements, his expressions or even his attitude. What they have in common, tho', is their command of the stage from back to front, left to right, and out into the audience. Their engaging with the audience. Their sheer audacity. And their way with a costume. Out of curiosity, I looked at some YT of Paul Rogers with Queen to see how he handled the same songs as Adam. Setting aside their vocal differences, which are significant, I concentrated on their performance style. Wow! Paul basically stood on the stage in front of the mic stand and sang. Walked out on the cat walk occasionally, carrying the mic stand with him. Then, for variety, he would stand in one place with the mic in one hand, and the stand uplifted in his other hand. Your basic rocker dude singing. But, not performing, if you know what I mean. No dancing, no exchange/connection with the audience or with the band, and no style in his dress. And, no palpable joy. A workhorse delivery. I have to think that Roger and Brian, having created hundreds of live shows with Freddie must have been frustrated with the limitations of such a front man. With Freddie it was not just about the singing, it was about the SHOW! No wonder they are so pleased with Adam. No wonder they felt a connection with him. He brought the theater back into the show. Just catching up this morning, still on page 1. I agree with a LOT of what you say, and you make very good points. Especially about Paul Rodgers. For me (for you), he was never a good fit with Queen and I paid almost no attention to that era because of him. Yes, Freddie was equal parts vocals and showmanship, though he never lost focus on his voice or his primary attention to the music. Those are my favorite Adam performances too, when the theatrics are there, but in service to the voice and the music. Dragon Attack seems to be a Glambert fan favorite, and it's easy to see why. I think Adam's homage to Freddie is well played in his performances of this song, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of them. By way of contrast, here's one of Freddie's interpretations of the song. I love this one, and it does make me miss him terribly:
