Oh my... this sent me right down the rabbit hole. I had to watch the Idolatry vids again. Here's a Youtube comment for this video: "Don't you just love Adam's ability to tell people to fuck off without actually leaving any credible evidence that that's what he just did. "[snicker] Wasn't his comment to Glenn Beck after showing the blurred kissing photos..."SUCH a lovely man!" I believe he said in on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Safe Plucking and all that. O'Reilly not Beck but yeah that was great. I've always attributed that quality as something he may have picked up from those Southern Boys he just loves  . Either that or somewhere along the way he was friends with a Real Southern Lady, you know Steel Magnolias style flay you to ribbons without using anything that can be used against you. |

In many ways we are having to fight the same battle that the Feminist movement fought years ago only in reverse. Women won the right to wear pants and have jobs that were'nt "feminine" but I remember thinking then that the arguements should have focused more on removing gender roles completely rather than on letting girls do boy things. Men have also had to fight for the right to be stay at home Dad's and that is still often looked down upon. But the interesting things is how the gay rights battles are stirring the pot and showing how much the feminist battles aren't really won yet in that much of the anti-gay rhetoric shows how misogynistic our society still is at its core. I don't think that women's rights issues will be resolved until men are allowed to be feminine without it being seen as inferior. Then and only then will we have true equality. WORD Absolutely 8-) |

Offtopic....but I'm watching Prince on Lopez tonight. Pretty awesome!! ....and he's talking about keeping his concert tickets at $25 - something about TicketMaster and Live Nation - damn, I missed what he said!....

I really love all of them. If any of you are interested in keeping up with the band members check out my tumblr page. I set it up to post band related stuff that would be OT here. I don't save fandom stuff on my computer so when Tommy stumbled upon tumblr I followed him there and realized it is the perfect platform to post favorite pictures, gifs and videos in one place. Have you been reading Tommy's tumblr, I've found it very interesting. Oh, yes. In a way, he has pretty much confirmed most of the things I thought about him. But some of the things he wrote about - like the Catholic school stuff - have surprised me. Still, it explains a lot. Removing the 140 character limit has opened a whole new window into his world. He is definitely not just a pretty face. (He IS very pretty though. Heh. ;D ) |
