BTIKM WAS #4 ON ZM's top 20 tonight!!!!And NO WAY is this just Glamberts voting.... have hardly seen any NZGlitterTribe around at the moment - no voting reminders or campaign has even started yet!! Once it does, there will be NO stopping it reaching #1!!! EDIT: The link is working zmonline.com/votemusic/ Vote for Adam Go the Kiwis. That is awesome news. On a previous topic, I'm in the ZEN camp about promotion for the single. I don't know why, perhaps because Katy Perry is so well represented, and because BTIKM is so good, I just feel incredibly confident that that the promo will be awesome. I simply can't get worked up. And on yet another topic FYI from a couple of pages back, fans are not pissing all over BTIKM on AO. About 5 people didn't like it. The pissing all over each other is between members about whether or not it was appropriate to *gasp* voice their dislike on his official site *end gasp* even after the mods OK'd the thread.

I doubt they were wrestling for fun the night they were taken to the police station. lol I have no idea how far the physical actions went, but the bouncers couldn't handle the scuffle or shut it down. Others got involved as far as stepping in and trying to break the fight up and the police were called. IMO, two brothers wrestling is different than two men, who are lovers, fighting in public to the point that the police have to be called. I'm not saying this incident is or was some type of shocking domestic violence, but I can't put it in the same category as two brothers who are rough housing or wrestling for fun. For sure. I wasn't referring to "THE INCIDENT" [dun dun dun] either when talking about wrestling for fun. But I guess that if I were to follow the analogy then it might not be that different from two brothers fighting in public to the point that the police have to be called. My point was more that when two men do anything, it will be different than when a man and a woman do something similar. While I in NO WAY agree with Harvey that this INCIDENT ;D can be referred to as domestic abuse, I can see his point concerning the warped views from society as a whole when it comes to domestic abuse among same sex partners. I assume the public might also view physical abuse to be less worrisome or valid in lesbian relationships, due to the fact that a woman is beating up another woman. It must be especially difficult for abuse victims in same sex relationships.

Done! I only put my first name, and clicked submit.. it said "thanks for voting", so I hope it went through.. ;D Thanks pi appreciate it. I'm not sure if you even have to put your name. I just click Adam's BTIKM circle, UNCLICK their 'receive news' option : and hit submit and I get the same 'thanks for voting' message. eri9 has tweeted the station to inquire as to whether international votes will even count. Hopefully they will respond - who knows But international ing can't be a bad thing...lol

Any chance of us getting away from all this TMZ talk and getting back to the bulls? I think the mods are missing, the mods are missing ;D [snerk] This mod had to leave to deal with the last night of Hannuka festivities. But, NOW you want to talk more about sperm??! Jeez guys, I intentionally derailed the convo earlier b/c it was causing random bouts of squickiness (and b/c I didn't want dump a topic I had so enthusiastically contributed to onto the other mods when I knew I had to leave for a while) ;D ;D . As for the rest....what cassie said.

I assume the public might also view physical abuse to be less worrisome or valid in lesbian relationships, due to the fact that a woman is beating up another woman. It must be especially difficult for abuse victims in same sex relationships. So I can tell that I am not explaining myself well and so am coming off all wrong in some instances. This is definitely a topic which can be discussed at length. Yes, I completely agree that domestic abuse can occur in both same-sex and (to quote Cheeks) opposite-sex relationships and the abuser can be either the male or female in any of the above relationships. The abuse can also be both physical or verbal. But when looking at any given relationship, it is the dynamics of the interactions which define the abusive situation. Men interact differently with men than they do with women and those differences must be taken into account, no matter how subtle, when determining whether a situation is abusive or not. The above has nothing to do with what I think went on in Finland. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Nor have I read or listened to any of the TMZ material and I don't plan to listen because I think conclusions were jumped to and then not let go when the limited facts were known. I hope this helps as opposed to making things worse. I do not take domestic abuse lightly, I promise.

Please view this as constructive criticism from someone who has lurked on PF then on here. Certain days The Diary of Anne Frank is a musical comedy compared to the angst that goes on here about nothing. I know criticizing is not permitted but it is impossible for me to keep my mouth shut tonight. Some of you love to wallow in misery and worry. Tonight with real life kicking my ass it was just too much to deal with perceived problems when so many authentic ones abound. If Adam worried half as much as some of you he would need a crisis negotiator to talk him down from the HOLLYWOOD sign. I know, DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT ME IN THE ASS. [grins] I'm gonna have to remember the phrase "certain days The Diary of Anne Frank is a musical comedy..." from here on out! Gonna be a keeper. In all seriousness, though, sorry your RL day sucked so badly. Have a lolly.
